Shun Shima 4-Piece Steak Knife Set (DMS0430)
We purchased a set of Shima steak knives in December of last year. They are nice and sharp but the blades are rusting. This is very surprising considering they were $300 for 4 knives.
Response from House of Knives

Hi Darren, The knives you purchased are very beautiful knives that are created with a high carbon steel. These knives require a little bit of extra care . I found this and wanted to share it with you: "Dry thoroughly after hand washing and do not store unless fully dry. Use a paper towel to dry the blade instead of a tea towel as kitchen cloths tend to leave the blade slightly damp. Store away from humidity."
To remove any stains or rust patches that may have developed over the past year, I recommend you try a tiny bit of Flitz. You'll be amazed at how beautiful your blades will look!
If you require any further assistance or advice please feel free to call your local store. If you would like to learn more about Flitz please go to our website and search ref# 102002
Have a wonderful day and thank you for your review.

Black Tusk Elephant EDC Multitool Satin (BTS-MT-ES)
This is a great compact handy tool. I bought a black one and have it on my keychain. If I were to buy again I would get the non painted one. My keys have rubbed and worn the colouring so mine looks more weathered that it actually is. Totally recommend owning one!

Spyderco Para 3 Black FRN (C223PBK)
First off again excellent service from HOK. The knife is pretty good I have to wait to see how effective the new Bd1n blade will do, only problem is the blade was not centered properly but easy to fix. It's just one of many knives I have ordered from HOK.
Thanks for the great service.

Kershaw Highball (7010)
Good knife to major issues.
First the edge of the fuller (gap in the blade used for opening) is really sharp (as sharp as the knife) I cust my self on it pretty deep while I was cleaning it. Second if you like me and you want to spidey flick it alot (it is designed to be opens this way) you will quickly wear a hole in the coating/paint on this part of the blade. Otherwise great. try the new highball XL instead

Victorinox Swiss Army Spartan Vancouver (54372)
I was so excited to unbox this beautiful I Love Vancouver Spartan in-store when I went in to pick it up. It has not disappointed in any way - the graphics on the scales are even better than I expected - Absolutely a stunner! And, upon deploying all the tools to check it out, I found everything to be absolutely perfect - as one would normally expect from any Victorinox, Made in Switzerland, multi-tool. Thanks Victorinox for this fabulous product.
