Shun 22-Slot Knife Block Walnut Stain (DM0854)
Love the knife block, lots of space for knives, and it's long enough to accommodate my bread knife without it marking the counter underneath.

Victorinox Swiss Army Classic Alox Limited Edition Tiger Orange (0.6221.L21)
Beautiful etching and texture. Vibrant colour and high quality feel. Nothing less than you would expect and in my opinion better look and feel than expected. Highly recommend.

CRKT Foresight Assisted GRN (K221KKP)
The foresight is an amazingly ergonomic feeling knife. My only regret is ordering the assisted opening model. I don't even want to carry it anywhere. I'd gladly trade for a standard model. Bummer.
Oh wow, I guess House of Knives want me to be happy with my purchase even though I was at fault for the error. That's awesome. Guess I'll wait for the Pilar to come in stock instead of ordering one from elsewhere. Cheers!

Merkur Super Platinum Safety Razor Blades - 10pc (910010)
These are some of the most painful razor blades I have tried. They feel like they are ripping the whiskers out rather than cutting. The shave feels rough and results in ingrown hairs. The Merkur blades are no longer made in Germany and I don’t know if this is the reason for the poor quality. In the past I have used Dovo blades and that is what I will return to.

Buck 112 Ranger Pro (0112BKS5-11968)
Honestly I want to absolutely love this knife. This knife had the worst blade play I've ever seen. I tightened the bolsters in my vice but now you can see and feel the pins. Its extremely disappointing that the fit and finish of my standard 110 blows this expensive 112 pro out of the water. That said the blade is beautiful and can really hold an edge.

Fusion Classic Olive 5.5" Prep Knife (9905-14)
This knife feels good in my hand and is a great compliment to my santokus...love the look of the olive wood but it loses a star because it appears that it will take work to maintain its good looks...that is fine for me as I am a woodworker but be warned...but a good knife needs maintenance...

Wusthof Classic Ikon Steak Knife 4.5" (1040331712)
A massive upgrade from cheap serrated steak knives that shred and tear a fine cut of meat. Takes and holds an edge well. Feels good to hold, definitely takes a meal to the next level. We all appreciate good cutlery for food prep, it just makes sense for the table as well.
