Rubis Ice Slanted Tweezer - Stainless Steel (1K102-CD)
They are okay - much better than the ones I have purchased in the past but the price is also much much higher so I would expect a superior product.

Wusthof Classic 4" Paring Knife (4066/10;1040100410)
As the title says, this little gem of a knife is the perfect little tool to get tasks done around the kitchen. Just the right size for preparing shallots, garlic, ginger. Cutiing tomatoes kiwi, oranges and apples are a breeze with this very sharp and sturdy blade. If fact, I was able to debone an entire chicken with it, leaving my boning knife bored. At 4", the length is just great for most utilitarian tasks you can come up with. Indeed this is just like a mini chef's knife. I would recommend this to any knife kit.

Shun Sora Ultimate 6" Utility Knife (VB0741)
I use it all the time for just about everything except chopping.
It's a perfect size and my wife (who wasn't crazy about the cost) says it's her favourite as well.

Leatherman Tread - Stainless Steel (831998)
was excited to get my Tread. It arrived and I have been using it, mostly the cutter tool, but then not even a week old, the scribe/window breaker fell out. I know Leatherman has a great warrantee, but, I should actually have to use the tool before stuff falls out, not just wear it.

Wusthof Classic Santoku 7" Hollow Ground Edge Knife (4183-7/18; 1040131317)
Like the hollow ground edge, staying very sharp even after weeks of use. We have had the classic chef knife for 18 years and still going strong, and I don't expect this one to be different. Love using it on all vegetables and it is the go to knife in the kitchen.
Great service at the store, and they had no problem price matching.

Wusthof Magnetic Blade Guard - Large (9921-3;2069640103)
Got these guards for my two Wusthof knives, you would think -being the same brand- that they would work perfect with the knives, but the width of the "hinges" is not as thick as the blade of the knives (specially the 8" chefs' knife) and so, the guard keeps popping up open and never stays closed, when I carry it to and from work it basically never stays with the knife. The pairing knife is slightly better but will have to find a better solution.
