CIVIVI Stormridge Micarta Green (C23041-3)
This is a light duty camp knife great for food prep and some lighter camp tasks.
I prefer the thinner blade (~3mm) to a lot of the thicker bushcraft stock for less onerous tasks as it feels more precise and contolled.
I docked it a star because I think they could improve this knife by having the handle/palm swell fill out the hand a little more.
It fits nicely in the finger joints with a fairly secure grip but I prefer a beefier handle for a more tactile feel. Nothing wrong with the knife, just my preference

Cold Steel Swift III (CS-FL-40AT)
Very happy with this knife. Definitely has some weight to it. After a brief break in period the open assist works like a charm. I quite like the closing mechanism as well.

Victorinox Toothpick Small (V) (A.6141)
I purchased this and the tweezers to replace lost pieces for my knife (which I was getting engraved to give to my daughter as a gift on an upcoming canoe trip). Paid more for the shipping than I did the items, but needed them for the gift. Unfortunately, while they fit the knife, the lip on the edge of both the toothpick and the tweezers isn't as precise as the originals, so they’re impossible to remove from the knife with your fingernail, and the only way to get them out is to use another tool. Super disappointing and a waste of money.

Too small for knife

Victorinox Tweezers Small (V) (A.6142)
The website said these were the right size for my knife, but definitely too small; they "sit" in the right spot, but it's so flus to the edge of the knife, you can't get it out without the use of another tool.

CRKT KatanaX Black (4800)
Now it could have been the knife that I got but it was such a safety hazard because unlike my Kershaw OTF this one gets caught won't lock and the only way to put it back into its body is by pushing it against an object at the tip of the knife plastic on plastic doesn't work when there's very little tolerance.
Which sucks cuz I love my crkt knives

CIVIVI Baby Banter Blue G10 (C19068S-3)
When you first open up the package, (which is top notch by the way) you see what at first glance looks like a toy knife. This thing is NOT a toy. Even though it’s just under 7 inches total length, it fits in your hand very comfortably, ( maybe I have raccoon hands )it’s very sharp, the textured aluminum handles are nice and the opening action is very smooth. This is a great EDC, just wish it had serrated blade.
I give this 7 stars

Spyderco Smock - a simple pleasure

Spyderco Smock (C240CFP)
First, completion of my order and delivery was a seamless experience, both fast and efficient.
I purchased the Smock as a gift for my son but couldn’t resist checking it out before wrapping it up. The blade is perfectly centered, the action is smooth and quiet, it locks firmly into place and releases easily. The factory edge was shaving sharp.
My son is very pleased with his knife and it is now his preferred edc.

Husband: what did you order? (After my package arrives)
Me(wife): a Swiss Army knife!
Husband: oh cool! Let’s see.
Me: (showing my husband)
Husband: what on earth are you gonna do with a knife like that??? It’s the size of a loaf of bread!
Me: well, one can never be too prepared.
I have always loved Swiss Army knives since I was a child and figured, why not just get a big one! Can never go wrong with their product!
