Pricing was straightforward and I really liked the fact that the free gift was just added in there without having to jump through hoops.

The HOK website is also much more maneuverable than many other sites I’ve visited. There is a small bug when in the mobile website that occurred pretty frequently. When browsing through items that I’ve used a keyword search to find, after looking through 8-10 items the page would suddenly reset and show that my keyword search didn’t bring back any results.

It was so frustrating as it was inconvenient but none the less still much easier to use. Excited for my new addition to my collection!

As far as online shopping goes, it went as expected. Clean website. The search function needs a bit of a cleanup. But overall pretty good. For the product, I just ordered it so I have yet to receive it. But I already owned a Cryo at one point. I know it's a great edc.

The online store is easy to navigate and once you have made your selection the order fulfillment was very quick. I received the knife I selected in just a few days from when the order was placed, and I live in Ontario.

All I can comment on so far is the service, as I have not yet received my item. Outstanding as always. Dealt with them via email and phone. As always they were top notch.

Love the selection and vast variety of knives, tools, accessories, and great customer service (price matching, answering questions quickly). However, the other 2 stars that are missing from this being a perfect experience are crucial.

One, the website navigation is very “old” looking and it’s not always easy to find what you’re looking for. The product descriptions are great and it’s nice to have customer reviews, but the site itself takes long to navigate and there is too much clutter. Another minor issue is that you don’t know if an item is out of stock until you actually click on the item and go to Add to Cart. There’s no indication while browsing multiple items.

Secondly, the mobile navigation is very tough. Pictures are not easily viewable and it’s not the most user friendly when on your phone. I love that there’s so many products to choose from, it just could use some work in the user interface aspect.

Also, you are not always getting the best deal on here and I think they do it on purpose. I once requested a price match but House of Knives quickly increased the price on their Amazon listing to match the H of K website lol. Also, you need a third party app to check the status of your order without having to make an account with H of K…

Overall, great selection but the shopping experience itself is rough and outdated.

PayPal wouldn't process at the time and I had to use visa. Other than that it was perfect
