HoK is one of the top knife stores I deal with. At times their prices are a bit higher than their competition but enough that for the amount of high end knives I purchase I have to go with the competition. Otherwise I get excellent service both online and in store be it in the Nanaimo store or in the Red Deer Alberta store HoK rates a huge 5 star excellent service.

Yea, it was fast shipping and an excellent utility knife. It was kinda dull though. For brand new knife it looked sharp but itsvdull . So i gotta sharpen it already.

Excellent first time trying HOK. Top speed shipping and delivery (given that I’m in Toronto and they’re located in BC). Their prices are great as well. I was happy to see a huge selection of brands of knives and related products. I purchased the ikon and I can only say I regret not getting it sooner. The knife is super sharp and has a decent weight where it’s not too heavy or too light. I also appreciate the knife handle is comfortable for smaller hands. Love my purchase! Have yet to use the whetstone that comes with the set. Amazing experience!

Every time I go to the store there's always someone happy to help and more importantly, knowledgeable. It doesn't matter the location. A rare experience these days with high turnover in the service positions. A huge difference from the big box stores. I've been going there for years and will continue to do so.
