I was disappointed in the shipping options , despite paying for the most expensive option it will be 4 business days and two weekend days until I receive my knife …4 business day delivery should not cost me almost $20. Worked in shipping for years fedex has overnight for that price

The shipping method used to ship the purchase to the store is beyond awful. I have several emails all with conflicting information, no tracking number, not even an email from the shipping company (no idea who is shipping) and no recourse to find out additional info

Sorry for any confusion here! For in store pick we cant give out tracking information as the order will be included in a larger box going to the store with regular stock and others online orders. Im not sure exactly which emails your getting but they should mostly be "its shipped" if you are getting conflicting info from them please email us at service@houseofknives.ca

I recently purchased a Civivi flipper and boy it is sharp. I know one expects a knife to be sharp right out of the box, but its been my experience that that is not the case. Civivi is one of the exceptions as the blade was razor sharp. The knife (Civivi Sendy Micarta green) has a nice heft and balance to it, with a pair of tweezers and a toothpick included! The pocket clip allows the knife to ride in your pants pocket very discretely.
This knife is an excellent value and the service from H of K was exceptional. Shipping was fast and the communication from the company was second to none. Other companies could learn from the H of K!

I'm pretty happy with the shopping experience. Something that would make your store and experience even better would be hardness (HRC) and steel composition (e.g. XRF) testing. Heat treat has a major impact on the knife performance, and knowing what you'll get is worth quite a lot. Furthermore, especially with knives made in China, there is always the chance of the steel not being what was specified, so a verification could add a lot of peace of mind and keep everyone honest.
I would definitely buy a knife that has a little HRC test dimple.

I am a regular custumer being first a small collectioner but also a sharpener since i took my retirment for Capitain Fire Fighter, Paramedic and First Respndant instructor for 31 years!! So doing rescues air Earth Water i tested so many knives so my men had the best !! House Of Knives has been for me the Best Knives company seller not only for all there choice of knives, there divercities, but also there realy realy Good services and for all the knives i ordered there never not even once i had to return a kife, Dammage Box or wrong order!! since nothing is perfect i give a 9.5 !It is only sad that the prices are so heavy in USA a 40$ knive will cost me754$! :( Beside that thank you for all the knivES companies choices and quick delevery! Happy 2025 to all your team!!

CONS: Ordered manix 2 and waited almost 3 weeks. I then contacted HOK, they told me my address was wrong, I told them no, that is the correct address. Package was sent the next day.
PROS: Great customer service.
CONS: Lost my exictement and was not happy no one contacted me to resolve this. A quick call or message would of fix this.
