I purchased SongKong as an automated solution for managing my music library. The demo version clearly suggested that the required metadata mapping would work reliably.
After purchasing, it became obvious that the software does not perform as expected in a real-world setup. Key functionality for my use case was simply not usable, making the product effectively useless to me.
Support did respond, but no goodwill solution or refund was offered. I have since completely removed the software and deleted the license.
Based on my experience, I strongly recommend being very cautious and testing thoroughly in your own environment before purchasing — in my case, it was a complete waste of money.

Your problem was that you thought you wanted SongKong to write genres to the Grouping tag, and the demo showed that and did it correctly as does the full version. The issue is that you wanted to use SongKong with Apple Music, and for the ID3 format (as used by mp3/aiff and dsf) Apple has added its own non standard custom field called GRP1 rather the standard GRP field so because SongKong does not currently support this field your genres were not showing up in Apple Music. It wasn't clear what the issue was when you originally contacted me but now that I have figured it out I plan to add support for this Apple field soon. SongKong is not alone, most tagger software does not support this custom field.

Attention! Attention! Don’t buy it. Will not deliver you a license key after purchase! They only take your money. Support or sales don’t answer any email!

Payment is easy.
Customer technical service is O.K.
But Jaikoz is severly neglected in terms of further development.

Songkong is a really great tool to keep your music library in good shape. so good in fact that all Melco Digital Music Libraries include a starter version of Songkong for Melco. Well worth the small fee to update to the full version and receive the updates and new features.

When it comes to manual editing cover art version 11.0 had some problems.
With version 11.1 those problems are solved. Recently I edited artwork of some 30 cd's and it worked like a breeze.
So I; m a happy camper.
best regards,
John
