Surron X Bike (Black Edition)
I'm 6'2" 185 lbs. I bought the high rise bars and I can ride this bike comfortably! I own a 04 yz250f but I now find myself riding this bike when I head to the mountains. I ended up buying my 12 yr old son one also and we have a blast! Well made and plenty of aftermarket parts/upgrades. I've ridden over a black diamond trail and when I've dropped the bike it's super light to pick up! Now building off grid charging infrastructure for week long camping trips. I do have to say, I recently was riding while it was snowing and after an hour and 12 miles of sport mode riding I still had 78% battery with a 54 tooth sprocket.

If you’re reading reviews considering getting one, yes, it’s everything you’re hoping it will be. I hesitated for a while cuz it’s a chunk of change but once I got it I was like why didint I get one sooner! These Surron bikes are great. I’ve been watching electric dirt bikes for years. They were always too expensive, too short of range and heavy. These guys finally hit the sweet spot.
I cruise around on the single track in the desert by my house and it’s a blast. It climbs way better than expected and top speed is plenty. They are well built a friend of mine has 1000 miles on his and its doing great. I ride a KTM 300 xc-w and I keep choosing this instead it’s just fun. A ton of guys are getting surrons as a fun capable bike to rip around on when they aren’t riding their bigger bikes.

Surron X Bike (Black Edition)
Purchased from Luna cycle. Did the Gates belt upgrade and light upgrade. They do NOT send you the old chain (and related), when they do the belt upgrade. A little jacked IMHO. They need to disclose this better on their website. I did get the old headlamp however, witch is strange. Not sure why they would send one and not the other. Assembly was wicked easy. I think it took all of 30 minutes or so. Battery was at 75% delivered. Charging to 100% took around 1 to 2 hours. I live in an urban city area. I rode about 2 hours (stops in between), and still had 30% battery left. Went to the Walgreens to rent a red box, went to the post office to drop a package off. Rode all around the neighborhood. This thing is so much fun. Stealth quite with the gates belt. I bought it for the trails, but now seeing that it may be used more for local neighborhood riding. Did not expect that. Hands down worth every penny!

Surron X Bike (Black Edition)
It the best investment I have ever purchased. I don't have a driver license and in my city of Oswego NY it great I have taken all over the town and riding it respectfully and the police don't even bat a eye. They have only stop me to see what I am riding and asking where can they get one. This week I have started my first upgrades. They are just the basic pegs peg support. Rear fender and floating rotors from Luna cycle. I give this ebike 10 stars would give it more it fun, reliable , and easy to work on.

Surron Model X Sine Wave Controller
I love this bike. The concept of riding a dirt bike around quietly without disturbing anyone is the best part. Considering what we invested in the bike, I do think the components should be more durable & heavy duty. (Handle bars brakes, break handles, fenders, etc). My first trip out, all the fenders have broken and a break handle.

Luna One BBSHD 36 Tooth Chainring
I was worried that the offset would affect chain angle a lot more than it actually does. I ordered an 11T-40T 8 speed rear cluster to replace my 9 speed 11T-32T at the same time as ordering this chainring, I re-arranged the gears in the rear cluster with one middle gear in the 1st gear position and the 40 tooth in the 2nd gear position, adjusted the upper set screw to stop at the second gear instead of 1st gear, perfect! I now have a much higher pedal cadence and the chain angle is almost exactly the same as it was in 1st gear on the old set up, I'm having no issues with changing gears or the chain jumping off.

LUNA X2 and X1 Crank Bolt
It was easy to contact customer service and I received a speedy reply (within 24 hours). Luna carried the part in stock. The part arrived, well packaged, within 7 days. Communication concerning tracking and arrival was excellent, as was credit card billing. Luna’s handling of this transaction exceeded my expectations, or perhaps more accurately, met my expectations since I have experienced consistently excellent after product support for my bike since it’s purchase 18 months ago.

Surron X Bike (Black Edition)
Bike is awesome,I had feeling after purchase that I was going to be disappointed. I was wrong. From purchase,to delivery,to Luna's customer service, I couldn't be happier. Finally had a break from the cold cold and been able to ride and when you're on it you can't stop smiling. So much fun,had a buddy over he rode it for 10 minutes and he's it's the process of making a purchase. Also my father thought I spent too much money once he rode it, quickly changed his mind, he was like "good purchase."

Surron X Bike (Black Edition)
I work nights and as soon as I assembled my Sur Ron I took it out and was zipping around all over the place at 3:00 am and no one even knew I was out there, that's why I bought one and also there is something addictive about this bike, you find yourself wanting to ride it all the time. As a Dirt Biker I wish it had more power, but I more or less knew what to expect before I received it. So far its been nothing but fun

XT90-S Connector Female with Pigtails
It's no secret that Luna Cycles makes high quality XT90 connectors for high
powered lithium batteries. The XT90 connectors with anti-spark resistors and pigtails that I purchased come solder and crimp ready depending on the user's wiring needs.
For installation purposes, I usually crimp my connectors to save time. I also apply a bit of dielectric grease to the metallic parts of the plugs for easier unplugging and more corrosion protection.
Always ensure that you cap any XT90s that are connected to a battery to prevent
accidental shorts. The caps help to keep dirt and moisture from getting into the plugs.
