I give this bike 5 stars hands-down. Yah it isn't perfect, but for the price, it blows just about everything out of the water! Luna is fantastic and their communication is awesome! I bought the luna seat and am planning on doing several mods as they are relatively easy to do! This thing rips!!

I have use the x1 droppers seat post on 3 other bikes you can’t beat the quality or the price the customer service is above and beyond.

Perfect pairing with my Luna X2. This charger has the three settings for 80%, 90%, and 100% state of charge. Plug it in for 80% or 90% after a ride, then top it off to 100% the night before the next ride. BTW, you need the XT60 to barrel plug adapter to pair up with the X2.

Charger does exactly what it says on the tin. Economical option for a reliable charger. The fan is about 40db.

I am a new owner of a Luna X2 Enduro Full Suspension Mountain E-Bike and could not be happier with the product. This bike is really functional, useful, and operates really well.
Disclaimer: I am new to mountain biking and this is the first full suspension mountain e-bike I have ridden and/or owned.
With that said, I am extremely happy with my purchase.
Shipping took 11 days (supply chain issues?)
Packaging was outstanding and the box arrived unscathed.
Test Run:
I first rode the bike on a paved trail to check it out, shifting, tuning, and motor operation.
Next was an ungulating gravel trail with steep climbing and high speeds downhill 37 MPH.
Accessing the trail I had to maneuver up a steep slope and trail (I should have walked). I used the throttle while on the seat and ended up breaking a chain, (a man’s got to know his limitations-Clint Eastwood).
At this point I spent 2 hours tuning the derailleur, this was trial and error in tuning.
Following this tuning session the shifting was 100%, stayed in the gears, shifted with each click and was accurate to each gear, no skipping or noise.
Both derailleur end points adjusted high and low.
Next were the real trails found on Tiger Mountain in the Seattle area.
After climbing the roads to the top of the mountain I started down. Half way down the motor stopped working and I had to peddle out manually. At this point I found these bikes cannot be ridden without battery power. Don’t find yourself in the backwoods with a dead battery!
While on the mountain, I called the Luna Tech Support Line and within 20 minutes Tech Support emailed me back the problem was related to the speedometer sensor. To align the speedo pick up with the sensor (drawing included). As it turned out, I determined the sensor plug was coming apart on the big impacts. Knowing this I tied the plug together with zip ties and it solved the problem. That was done and I headed back up the mountain for more trips down.
Since then, I have over 100 trouble free miles on the bike and I’ve ridden dozens and dozens of trails. The mountain biking in the greater Seattle area-mainly the Tiger Mountain areas are extensive. Thirty minutes away from my house we access most the extensive complex of trail systems I have ever seen. We have the choice to ride up access roads or ride up the trails; some trails are two way-most are one way down.
Final Comments:
In General:
This is a beautiful bike and the Galaxy Paint is one of a kind in the sunlight. The trails in my area are perfect for this bike, ride up roads on mode (power setting) 2 with some assist or three for ease of access. The bike requires peddling which is a workout as well. However, it is nice to use the throttle when pushing the bike through the snow. The throttle is one item that sets this bike apart from others.
Components:
The components on the bike are well suited for the use. They operate really well and the motor is quiet and powerful. I don’t see a need to use mode 5, mode 4 on a rare occasion. Mostly, I use mode 2 and three to save battery power and for exercise.
In conclusion, I could not be happier with the Luna X2. The bike feels great, I love the power source, and it is quiet and powerful.
