A few features missing. I have ridden my new X2 with the Ludi controller on a variety of terrain and can verify that it is a solid and really fun dirt bike that will also give you a workout. The light weight carbon frame and full suspension are top shelf, the 2.8 inch tires are adequate to cut through sand and roll over rocks. The ludicrous controller will give you a big burst of power for very steep hills or deep sand, but this motor is not designed for continuous load at more than about 750 watts. My wife's BBSHD is actually a stronger motor, but the M600 is smooth and quiet, with sneaky torque that builds as the RPMs increase. Gear it down for best performance and maybe go a little slower than you would like on the flats. Tunable with the VESC app, but I don't use the phone when riding as I found that if it loses the bluetooth connection, the whole thing shuts off and comes back on again in a few seconds. I found that pedal assist 3 out of 9 is the best overall setting, full throttle gives you about 1200 watts at this setting which is adequate for nearly any situation. There are, however, a few features missing. With the 10 speed cassette and narrow chain, a shift sensor might be considered a must with this much power. You have to be really careful when shifting. Also, no brake sensor to cut the motor when braking, that would be a good alternative to shift sensor, even if only on the front brake, as you could just touch the left brake while pedaling to shift without potential chain damage. One has to be very mindful to NEVER shift with throttle power applied. Lacking both, I have to give it 4 stars instead of 5 as on a bike at this price point you shouldn't have to modify it to bring it up to spec. The pedal assist is mostly torque sensitive which I find a little annoying. If you pedal lightly, you get a very slight assist and this is not tunable. It is when you apply more torque pedaling that the power really kicks in. This is good for people who want a workout, not so good for cruising down the highway. Also lacking is any kind of taillight or headlight or provision on the bike to plug one in that I can find. Throttle comes installed on the left, I moved it to the right, making it impossible for me to shift with throttle applied. I also cut the handlebars down 1 inch off each side, they were way too wide for me. I am also hopeful Luna will come up with a 72 volt battery that will fit this bike as the documentation says the Ludi controller can handle it, and it would give a higher top RPM to the motor when using the throttle and even more torque. A minor annoyance was the battery rattling in its holder which a piece of bubble wrap between the battery and the bottom carbon fiber panel fixed.

It's been a lot of fun. I trying to figure out why it's pretty creaky, but I'm having a lot of fun and going places I never would be able to go on a normal mountain bike.

The No Drill Battery Mount Kit is a great way to avoid drilling new holes into your bike frame to secure either a battery, a water bottle cage or like in my case, add a bike lock to the bottle cage mounts(which this No Drill Battery Mount Kit adds). Will be purchasing another kit in the future to mount a 2nd battery. Highly recommend! Oh, I almost forgot... They shipped it in a really cool box too. the dad of surron just got mine cut the brown wire and goes 63 with me on it good power and twerk if your think of getting a surron dont this is a way better bike handels trails hills and sand pit hill climbs with ez. i recomend this bike over the surron any day ( charege battery while puting to gether and dont let it go under ten) supper fun bike nothing bad to say about it

I love it i just have one complaint
The instructions are straight up useless it pretty much just says “put this here” without showing the name of the part or the tools / screws you need it’s kinda pointless I just resorted to youtube videos but besides that i’d say best bike out there it’s very smooth and quick you can definitely feel those 8kw kick in as soon as you touch the throttle

I'm about 50 miles in. I've done neighborhood roads, dirt paths and some trails. can't say enough good things about this bike. assembly was easy. If you take any bolts out upgrading parts be careful not to strip them. from the factory the put tons of locktite on every damn bolt. i changed to a 52 tooth sprocket and its a good mix of torque upgrade without losing too much top speed. I did a lot of research into this vs surron x and made the right choice.

The stealth is a fun bike that is exactly as depicted in the photos. In third gear, I can get it up to around 32 mph pedaling pretty hard on flat ground. Full tilt or downhill this thing can easily go 35+. When riding with non ebike friends, you can quite literally ride in circles around them from how zippy this bike is. I love how the hub is silent, I have scared multiple people in my neighborhood passing them (oops!).
I've put about 500 miles on this bike so far. I had one issue early on with the magnet on the wheel (to help calculate speed and distance traveled) becoming loose and slipping down the spoke. It was a simple fix with some loctite.
The two things I don't love about the bike are the comfort and range. For comfort, I think this bike would be top-tier if it came from the factory with road-bike bars. The flat bar is not ergonomic and I find myself holding the ends of the bar to make it more like a road-bike feel. I live in a hilly area and the battery suffers greatly going uphill with the assist on. With level 3 assist, I'd say the range is 10-15 miles, with level 1 maybe 20-25. I will say going uphill in level 1 assist is almost zero help. I pretty much only use level 2, and switch to 3 when I want to go super fast.

X2 27.5 Ludi. Bikes been awesome. Did the film where update. Had to buy the VESC app twice. Once for Samsung once for iphone. Got the bike set in trail mode. Only issue was the back axle loosened up. Thread lock seems to have solved that.
