Bafang BBSHD Mid Drive Ebike Kit
I have ordered many products from Luna but the BBSHD is one of my favorite of them all. The way they package this kit is far and above any other companies presentation. The box that the kit comes in is so cool that I ended up keeping it for boxing and storage of other items. As for the kit itself, you have all the options you will ever need to choose from when selecting the alternative upgrade options. From a price point perspective there are other companies that are selling it just a little cheaper however as I mentioned in the world they don’t pay attention to the details as well as Luna Does.

BBSHD Ludicrous Steel Gear (Nylon Gear Replacement)
The Nylon Gear in the BBSHD is quieter because of the high quality material, it is lighter, and it is bigger in size and lighter than the Steel Gear made by Luna. There definitely is more torque than the Nylon and little bit more noise that sounds Raw and Monstrous riding down the trails Worth the cost for sure and required with the Ludi controller it you get it.

Surron X Bike (Black Edition)
Very happy with the Surron X. I mainly use the bike on a
backyard pit bike track and it is great for that. Nice
and quiet, no complaints from the neighbors! Great
overall feel on the bike. I like the acceleration, handling and suspension. I highly ⁶recommend this bike, you won't be
disappointed.

Bafang BBS02 Mid Drive eBike KIT
I dithered around too long thinking I needed a mid motor with a torque sensor. That was wrong. This motor and controls are very smooth.
This kit was easy to install but make sure you have two essential tools-the crank extractor and the wrench to tighten the BB locknut.
It's just hilly enough around here for a 72 year old and I'm glad I got the 750 watt motor.
All in all the only mistake was mine. I should have done this sooner.
You being a local company(I'm in Oceanside) was the icing!

Surron X Bike (Black Edition)
Amazing ebike from an Amazing company. Bike arrived in a timely manner and communication from Luna was excellent. The bike was well packaged and assembly was really straight forward. I would highly recommend a SurRon X from Luna Cycles to anyone who is thinking about one. Communication from Luna Cycles after the purchase is great. I had a concern and emailed them and was responded to asap. Thanks for a smooth purchase.

Bafang BBS02 Mid Drive eBike KIT
Thanks Luna cycle.Just finished installing the BBS022 mid drive kit on a new Polygon premier 4 hard tail mountain bike. The first challenge was hone the inside of the lower bracket so the unit would go through.Next was the battery. I used 1/4” nutserts for a good solid mount . The gearshift sensor took some time but well worth it. I managed to hide most of the wires inside the pipes using rubber grommets. Hydraulic brake sensor and magnets I used epoxy instead of the stick on. With a little tweaking this bike is awesome.went to advanced settings and changed peddle assist to 9 Levels. Very smooth and quiet motor. My only complaint is that the thumb throttle is more like an on off switch. Probably needs a twist throttle upgrade.went with a 52 volt 13 amp hour battery.went 25 miles today and only used 20 percent of reserve. Very happy with this kit.The bike is still fairly lightweight and nimble.went with the 48 tooth front sprocket and had to add 3 links to the chain. The top speed is about 28 mph, not bad. I will be purchasing another kit from Luna for my wife very soon .

LEKKIE Bling Ring Spacers for the BBS02
Did the job, cheaper than the lekkie spacers. I had to knock one star off because of one of the spacers needed slight deburring to fit the motor.

Luna Lift Kit Surron Seat Riser / Extenders
The seat stilll feels extremely solid after putting on the seat extenders. They also blend into the look of the bike quite well. Only reason I am giving four stars was because no assembly instructions were included and it was not easy to find a guide online.

BSB-1 Stabilizer Bar for BBS02 and BBSHD
Great for holding your bafang motor in place. Can be oriented to the seat tube and gives a great mounting angle compared to aligning with chain stay.

Bafang BBSHD Bare Bones (motor and controller only)
Fit well in a bb92 with pf41 adapters and a few spacers. Item pictures and description could be more specific as this comes with the basic mounting hardware. Customer service was very helpful.

Luna is quick to ship and has great customer service, the magnet mount allowed me to place ebike battery on top tube and it is more secured than other typical mounts, will def buy from Luna again for other projects
