My fat bike with the BBSHD motor is by far the most fun I've ever had on a bike! Luna had fantastic customer service from start to finish and replaced a display that wasn't properly working with little hassle. If you're looking for a motor conversion kit, Luna is the place to buy it!

Great little clips

Seat is perfect …. Go Luna!!!

Came fast worked perfect ….I LOVE LUNA CYCLES!

Discovered that I like riser bars at an ea$y price.

Nice seat. Good quality, and much softer than the original one.

Very pleased with the features, quality and operation of my Luna e-bike charger. I can now take optimal care of my bike battery; getting the maximum life from the most expensive component of my ride!

The Sur Ron X is built really well, and soooo much fun to ride. I bought mine in May '21 and this model seems to fix some issues from earlier bike reviews. The brakes work great and are quiet. The rims and tires are holding up nicely after 400mi and I'm 220lbs and ride rough trails in the rocky mountains. I upgraded to a 50T sproket and it has more low end power and I only lost 2mph off the top speed, which on the flats is 47mph. The 25mi range going hard in sport mode is plenty for a quick rip after work. The only issue I've had is with the sensors not knowing that I let go of the brakes or put up the kickstand. I just unplugged the sensors on the harness and 30 min later no more issues.

Luna Cycle is quick to ship. Excellent! Everything you need comes with the kit. If there is anything special needed like shims, spacers, wiring extension cables, etc. Luna seems to have everything you need. I just finished building a sun seeker fat tad full suspension, 20x4 inch front tires, 26x4 inch rear tire, 8 speed. BBSHD kit powered by 3 20 amp hour batteries wired together for a total of 60 amp hours. Batteries can run all together or run each one separately until drained. With BBSHD this trike is powerful, fast, and reliable. I am guessing 150 mile range at 10 to 15 mph. I have loaded this trike with all the bells and whistles and am ready to hit the trail. This is my second build using Luna Cycles BBSHD kit.
My first was in 2019 I think. I used my 2004 Raleigh c30 with 700c/28 inch tires. 20 amp hour battery with a range of up to 75 miles at 10 to 15 mph. going slower and not getting on it (slow and steady) greatly improves range. Thousands of miles later my first BBSHD kit is still fast (30 mph) and strong and reliable. NO BREAKDOWNS OF ANY KIND. thank you Luna Cycle.

Love it! Makes the bike fit and feel so much better at an amazing price!! I haven't seen this for less than double this price!

Hot item, got this in January today July 5th I'm charging it for the first time very high range for my needs

Way more comfortable and durable than the stock seat. I highly recommend this upgrade. It is a must have if you plan on riding your Sur Ron for more than an hour at a time.

I am very happy with my Apollo. The build quality is top notch and it's a great ride. Shipping was quick and customer service answered every question and helped trouble shoot some questions I had about adjusting the bike. Great company, no complaints!

Fun bike around town, on the trails, and on the track.

This upgrade is worth it!

An absolute must for the X-1. So long juice anxiety!

Fitted a new controller to my bbs02 very pleased with the performance I recommend this replacement

Best purchase ever! It's so much fun to ride. Plus we are using it for a pit bike for our race team.

We've had our Sur Ron for about 2 weeks now. A little background before I get to the review. I've been around motorcycles all my life. Now approaching 50 with a 17-year-old son. Growing up I tried to get my son interested in motorcycles. I bought him a Honda 50, Pw 50, ttr 90, crf 125, and even offered my son my ktm 450 and a Honda Grom street bike. He never got into it, he just never really cared to ride and never wanted to learn to ride a clutch. He's part of this gaming generation that's not big into mechanical things. For years he's seen me be able to ride awesome wheelies on many of the bikes I've had. I think he always thought it was cool but never asked me to teach him. He's always tried to learn on a mountain bike but neither of us was very good at that. Recently he started showing me videos of this bike by a guy named Sur Ronster. He was amazed by his wheelie abilities and expressed an interest in the bike. It not being a clutch and being very high-tech cool like a Tesla got him hooked I think. So I decided to order him one hoping he'd go on rides with me so I could get some exercise on my e-bike. Well, it worked. It's been less than two weeks now and he's been riding it every chance he gets. Mostly practicing wheelies. He's on day 4 or 5 of his wheelie practice and he's starting to get to the balance point. Even getting some near 80 feet long. I'm kind of surprised it took an electric bike to get him interested. About the bike. The power stock is good, not great but very comparable to a pit bike, the bike is way smaller than I expected. More like a big wheeled 110/125. For us we needed higher bars right away. It was our first mod. We have a heavy-duty bash guard on the way as well as some better pegs. This year that's all we will do. Maybe next year we will upgrade to the bac-4000 controller. Maybe the following year a new battery. One thing I'm totally impressed with is the upgradability. Hopefully this month we will take it to Michigan and hit some single track. My only fear right now is the front fork holding up. Seems like the weak point on the bike. So overall we give it a thumbs up. 4.1 K is a lot of cash but I think in the long run it will have been worth it.

Great seat. Very comfortable. Well made. Probably an inch thicker than my original Segway X260 seat. Easy install.
