Laying out a mile course on three acres in the northern Sierra’s single track thru the sage and other bushes, this is around my house. Also have several twenty mile to thirty miles single track, to much snow now, Stealth is great!!!

Luna is awesome, if you are a taller rider this is a must, stiffer spring and proper sag and it takes heavier riders. Must have for bigger riders

Amazing bike ! Build quality is very impressive, In tight single track this bike shines probably faster on this than my Ktm 250 I highly recommend this bike Luna is awesome and I will definitely be a customer for life!

I already had my first accident in it, I broke two fingers into four parts, a whole hand, but when I get better I will continue riding it is wonderful it is the best you will never stop riding it

This is a great system for people that want exercise but have physical issues that limit their movements. I have right leg issues that keep me from leaving the house on a walk or bike ride. I never know when I will run into pain that stops the walk or becomes very painful. With this on my bike, I never worry about getting home. Therefore the level of exercise has increased a 100 times. Normally I am peddling 100% of the time unless I start have a leg issue. So I am getting exercise without worry.

Very satisfied with both the kit and the support I have got from Luna Cycle.
I have built it on a downhill bike, which was a bit challenging, since most of the space is already in use.
I bought the magnificent Wolf battery pack to go with it, which gives good mileage.
Having no other option than to put it on top of the frame, gave less than perfect weight distribution, so I made my own battery with a shape that would fit below the frame.
Experience has shown that bringing both battery packs, gives reasonable weight distribution and a total of 21Ah capacity, good for the long rides in the back country.
Since this is a downhill bike, I wanted to add a chain guide and tensioner to avoid possible chain derailment.
To be able to do that, I bought the 40/40T chain wheel option, to be able to fit my existing chain guide.
I have read many concerns about derailing the front chain, due to flex in the mounting brackets.
I have experienced it once, and found out that it was not due to the kit, but the important adjustment of the chain tensioner.
This can be a bit tricky, nut when you get it right, and the front chain is quite tight, the problem is no more existing.
I can now whip my bike around the downhill track quite hard, without worrying about either of the chains.
Over all, this is a highly affordable, solid kit that is the best value-for-money option for DIY-enthusiasts.

These solderless barrel connectors are very convenient. I tinned the leads inserted into the connector to give the screws a good grip on them. If your leads are not very fine wire you probably won't need to do this.

I've used these connectors to adapt my Luna charger output to the charging port on my batteries. When not in use on my bike, I also use one of these batteries to power an emergency light source. I just replaced the AC plug on an old lamp with one of these connectors and replaced the 120vac bulbs in the lamp with some 48v DC LED bulbs.

I first rode this bike for about 5 miles with the power assist turned off. On a flat Kansas bike path, I can cruise and hold 10.5 mph. Without power I still pass slower people so with power on I really slow down!
A couple days ago I started a ride with a full battery. I rode 10.6 miles and used 16% battery. That ride had numerous top speed runs on flat paved trail, some runs thumb throttle only!!! I did pedal a lot of the time as I like riding unpowered bikes. Trails are wet around me so I haven’t had the joy of that yet.

I recommend people buy a cheap harbor freight 1/4 torque wrench, torques bit and allen bits. The tool kit Luna included is great but for around $25 the torque wrench click is worth it to me so I don’t over tighten things.

Overall it’s a dope bike

I just received the SurRon X yesterday. Assembly was a breeze. Bike is solid and of very high quality. Runs fantastic and is a total blast to ride!! I have been riding for decades and worked as a motorcycle mechanic in my younger years and this is the most fun on two wheels you will ever have. Seriously. I recommend this bike to anyone who wants to enter the EV market without spending a lot.. Of course that is relative, it is $3.6K, but that is the lowest price you can get anywhere. The other leading seller of this type of bike wants $5K without the upgrades Luna provides. The Luna upgrades include the sinewave FOV X controller, smooth control electric throttle, upgraded steering headset, RST Killah/DNM forks and a very high quality battery not surpassed by any other manufactures of EVs including the (1-1) bikes !! SurRon X Quality is on level or better than name brand leading motorcycle manufacturers. This is the good. My bike had a slightly bent and scratched up rear rim upon arrival and i'm trying to work with customer service to get this taken care of.. So far not very satisfied with the cust support.. The other reviews i read gushed about cust support and the bike quality. So far i'm just not feeling the customer support yet. I have left 4 stars because of this. will update to 5 when i am satisfied with the handling of this matter.

This bike is insane! I own a stock sur ron X. Was pleased with it but once they dropped this release I immediately jumped on it. Purchased along with the super moto kit and gates belt drive. All together it’s definitely a must have!!! I’m more than satisfied with all of my purchases from Luna cycle. They’re a great team with great support selling amazing products! Keep it up guys
