This adapter is super solid. Being able to run industry standard sprockets gives Sur Ron owners a huge variety of options. Another solid Luna Product.

Well built, sturdy
lots of fun

Just finished putting this thing together and it rocks! What a blast to ride. Luna's email customer service has been top notch through the entire process. They have answered all my questions in a very timely manner and gave advice when needed. Fast shipping as well!

I am new to ebiking and purchased the Luna advanced charger to go with my BBSHD kit. You have the ability to choose how many amps and the percentage of the charge you want. It works as advertised.

Got the Sur-Ron Ludicrous XX as a Xmas present .
I have been riding it everyday for the last 3 weeks. I highly recommend the front fender install. Also start slow at first to get use to the crazy amount of torque from a stop. This bike can do wheelie anytime. The Sport mode is not for the faint of heart but it’s where all the fun begins. The highest I have hit is about 48mph. The range is great and lasted me all afternoon of riding in Sport Mode. I love this bike! Highly recommend it!

My bike arrived quickly and in good condition. Assembly was a bit of a struggle because it appears many things have changed in the manufacture of this bike over time. Instructional videos, even those on the Luna website are out dated. An example is that the Luna video shows installing the handlebar, and then the controls. That was not possible on mine because they shortened all the connecting cables. I had to take it back apart, assemble the controls, then install the bar. Some videos say cut the green wire for full power and some say connect it. Turns out that change was made in 2019 sometime. I wish the info provided by Luna at least was up to date. None the less, assembly of the bike is pretty easy. You just have to be patient. My front fork width was under spec by .060", which made installation of the wheel impossible. I had to stretch the forks apart using a scissor jack to get the proper clearance. I mentioned this to Luna, but did not even get a reply. Hmmm. I own a business, and we would have replied to that.

Now for the better news. The bike is truly great, and a blast to ride. Luna has done an outstanding job working with the manufacturer to spec the bike for our market. They are responsible for the improved suspension components, headset, controller, and probably the battery. They have added a lot of value. I feel that the price is a huge bargain. The only component on this bike that has to go is the seat. It is just terrible. Everything else is surprisingly high quality for this price point! I would buy it again, and I would recommend it. I really think Luna should have an internal chat about customer service. My experience wasn't bad, but left me less than confident.
EDIT: since this review Luna has reached out to me regarding some of my concerns. I appreciate that!

Spacers worked fine to install eclipse sprocket

Worked great, the Eclipse provided the offset to align chain.

Excellent Seat!

Skid plate fits perfectly and looks good and is very functional.

Love the bike, so do all my neighbors. Quick and quite.

Love the battery. I get around 70-100miles on this on 52v.

Amazing quality

Best purchase I ever made on the Sur Ron X

This was a Christmas project and everything went smooth with the exception of the brake disconnect. Watch the videos if you are going to do this yourself

Amazing look, fits perfectly with the bbshd, hope it will last long... shipped to France in less than a couple of week.
Thanks Luna !

This Luna adaptor allowed me to install a Bafang BBS02 mid drive motor into an American BMX bottom bracket. It feels very solid and was super easy to install.

Can't wait to throw them on

The product is ok, but the service from FedEx is terrible. I wasn't expected to pay 71 dollars for the tax. I would not gonna place the order unless I know exactly how much I need to pay.

Looks great, perfect fit and way stronger than the original.
