Purchased this 72v charger for my Emmo Proton and so far I am very happy with it. I was able to easily modify the bike to accept the included xt60 connector and the charger and all of its features have worked perfectly as advertised for the last month.
The product is wonderful but be aware that if you live in Canada like I do, the shipping will be rather costly.

The Bafang worked great on my Trek 29er and fit very well. After watching a bunch of conversion videos and buying the Luna toolkit, it was reasonably easy. The only problem that I've had was the display shutting off on it's own after 10 or 15 minutes which means of course means that the assist doesn't work. Since I've disabled the"Auto Off" in parameters, it appears to be functioning okay. So far.

I didn't know if it was my controller that was my failure, and kinda thought it might be my display. I was actually wanting an Egg Rider display so I bought that and it wasn't the problem, damn. So I ordered an upgraded controller with Beaucoup FETs from Luna who had it in stock and ready to ship. Now my GreenSpeed Low Racer (GLR) recumbent trike is rolling low and fast. Still working my gaining my recumbent legs, but help from the 750W motor for the hills is just what this 51 year old needed. Thanks Luna!

Ok, so coming from a mountain biker for a greater part of my life, I wanted to venture into this whole emtb thing. I currently ride a YT Jeffsy. I do have a slew of ebikes ranging from the Luna Banana bike for cruising, a BBS02 conversion, and a Sondors with a child seat up front.

I didn't want to spend much on an emtb as I was not sure if I'd end up liking it. So this X-1 hit the price point and the specs I wanted in this new venture. Sure the geometry was on point with a frame design of 2018 with a 66.5 degree HT angle. It's the latter part of 2020 now and it should be about 2 degrees slacker.

Some said that the bike is big for it's size, but it's on par with all the modern big travel bikes these days. A 160mm travel bike is going to sit tall. My medium X-1 feels on par with my medium Jeffsy. Sure this thing is heavy, but once you get rolling it starts to feel like a normal bike. I can still bunny hop it somewhat. The one thing that differentiates this from my YT is that this thing is a beast! With 2.8 tires front and rear, I can just about go over anything. I'm used to 2.5 tires but these give you the confidence to just about ram into anything on the trails and even curbs on the street. I ordered schrader valves to go tubeless soon.

Overall, I'm happy with this bike. For the money I spent vs the dream emtb I wanted, I can't imagine spending more. This is a downright bargain compared to the big brands. I ended up getting the basic model. No silent and no ludi. The gearing is not that loud to be so bothersome. It's definitely louder than a BBS-HD but it's really not that bad and the noise gets drowned out with the tire noise and wind noise. I didn't get ludi because of another online reviewer, and it's true. You don't need it unless you plan on using the throttle and using it like a motorbike. I believe the purpose of an emtb is for someone to get on the trails and at the same time to get a workout. I only use PAS 3 and get the best of both worlds. I don't need to get more assistance than that. Even 3 is a bit much. I wish I can dial it down to 2.5. In level 5, you're essentially using the pedals as your throttle switch.

Like I previously mentioned, the bike is awesome. The Yari is a baby Lyrik and it just levels the mountain. The bike allows me to ride from home to the trails instead of having to drive to the trails. And it's easily one of the best looking emtb out there. It's hard to get the look of an emtb let alone the function of one with dual suspension design. This one does not look like a pregnant beluga whale.

This bike also doubles as my family ride bike. I put on my ibert child seat to the steerer tube and ride with the fam. It also serves as a tow bike when my 5 year old gets tired of riding using my tow rope looped to my seat to pull him home. I got rid of my one-trick Sondors and replaced with this dual-duty monster. I love this bike and can't with for the next iteration.

Great mid drive. It offers amazing power and reliability.

This chainring is like a magnet to the chain. It's teeth fit perfectly and hold the chain tight uike the stock bafang chainring. I really loved the 42T gearing with my hard tail that's running 11-34T cassette. My top speed used to be around 31mph, (stock 48T) new top speed is ~28. I decided that I needed to slow down on the bike and it feels much saferf.

The build of the ring is sturdy and professional feeling. Anodized finishes are smooth and vibrant.

Luna has done it, finally a kick ass bike, well balanced, outstanding performance and at a great price. I have a few E-Bikes, one a popular brand with a Yamaha Sync motor drive torque assist. The X-1 m600 is waves above and far more superior to the competition. I have rode over 500 miles as yet, with plenty of power and battery life to spare. I can't thank you enough for putting this together for us E-Bike enthusiast with such quality and precision. Way to go Luna.
