The battery is incredibly solid. I like that it has two charge ports and two discharge ports and that they are different. I love the mounting system! What sealed me on this battery is that I am hanging it upside down on my recumbent (with a safety strap to back up the battery mount) and no other battery would be sure to keep out water. I also appreciated the accurate sizing template so I could make sure it would fit. Thank you, Luna!

I'm an old guy that wanted a fat tire ebike to get back in shape. Was worried about the local hills. The KHS 3000 came with quality components and that tweaked motor. It gets me up the hills without straining me or the motor. The bike is great, it was delivered on time in good shape and was everything that I thought it would be. Only issue was that I did not get a tool kit and Luna customer service took care of that. I'm looking forward to biking with the my buds and having a great time.

Purchased this as I wanted a folding e-bike that I could fit into my single engine airplane. This thing is a complete blast to ride around. There’s plenty of battery capacity with the supplied pack; I’ll typically ride only using pedal assist 1 or 2 (of 5). In that configuration I rode 40 miles using only 45% of the battery on mostly flat terrain. I did swap out the seat for something more comfortable but that’s it. The bike arrived in perfect condition, I only had to make small adjustments to tighten some things. Overall I’m loving it.

just the item I needed for DIY moped project

Good workmanship, smooth and quiet ride. Wish it had a bit more getup and go though.

Terrific value. I did a lot of research before making this purchase, having never previously bought a bike that I had not had chance to see in person beforehand. Pretty much all of the reviews stressed the combination of excellent parts and the combination of an Internal Gear Hub, Gates Belt Drive and hydraulic brakes could not be matched at this price point. Overall, a solid performer. One request -- PLEASE include paper instructions and/or do a YouTube video on the control screen. It is not intuitive, especially the "modes" settings.

LUNA, please edit your website to remove the part about the free tool kit,(or start supplying the free toolkit): "We supply a tool kit with every bike we sale complimentary so you are able to do your own bicycle maintenance and repairs".
THERE IS NO FREE TOOL KIT. What there is, is a bike with almost every nut and bolt and suspension pivot loose, needing to be tightened. I am glad I read the forum posts about the loose crank-arms, as they were barely finger tight. I am currently searching all over town for the 17 different sizes of torx bits I need to tighten up the suspension pivots. Real pain in the butt. After waiting 3 months for this thing, I just want to get out and ride it. (just arrived at my door yesterday, sept 19, as part of "early august shipment". granted I live in Canada and the border crossing added about a week)
I would happily pay a couple hundred bucks more for a bike, if it came out of the box ready to ride. Perhaps you could offer an add-on, like "silent treatment" or "ludicrous mode", called "we will check the bolts of your new bike so it won't fall apart on the first ride". I would pay for that.
I ordered two of these bikes, a large for myself and a small for my partner. It was not even the same stuff that was loose on each bike, but a real surprising variety of randomly loose components between the two bikes.
Otherwise the bikes looks pretty good, I am looking forward to riding once I finish tracking down all the right tools...

As a dirt bike rider (63 years old) and former A class rider, I am so impressed with the quality of this bike. I have let my friends ride it and they love it as much as I do.

Good quality tube for a decent price. Will buy again!

Working great! So much quieter than my old charger. Made out of aluminum and actually feels like quality! It dose 80% 90% and 100%? I hand to solder my old charge cord to the new one. So far I’m happy!

Very good costumer service..responds rightaway..cant wait to purchase again..🤙🏼🤙🏼

The best display I have owned. Very sharp with large numbers makes it easy to see in bright sun. It was very easy to replace my previous Luna display with this one. I would recommend this display to anyone.

GREAT PRODUCT!!!

fit perfect, sturdy, could have better zippers but great value for the cash

Very strong battery! Everything I’ve bought from Luna has been great quality, and this battery is no different. Highly recommended

I’ve had this battery for almost three years now. For the past two years it sat unused and a year ago I checked the voltage which was off the charts too low, like 30v. I thought I had ruined the battery by letting it sit beyond empty. But once I charged it back up it held a charge and I’m back in business. Ran 1500w half an hour 20% grade up a mountain and my BBSHD was smoking hot but the battery was barely warm. This thing rocks.

36 tooth chain ring arrived quicker than expected and has worked great. Love the extra torque for climbing hills.

I just received my X1 and put about 20 miles on it. First impressions are outstanding. The fit and finish of the bike is top notch. The bike was well protected and there was no shipping damage.Set up is simple and straightforward. The PAS is silky smooth with level 3 being the sweet spot. I wanted to inform new purchasers that Luna is no longer sending t-shirts, water bottles, or other little goodies. However, Luna did upgrade the wheel set to Alexrims MD35’s, which are far superior to the older aluminum rims the X1 came with. The Alexrims only weigh 5 oz. more than the DT Swiss wheels I was considering upgrading to, so I was ecstatic to learn I wouldnt have to upgrade! Also, Luna upgraded the front chainring from a no name 32 tooth to the Sram 38 tooth 104BCD X-Sync 2 chainring and its perfect. Another component I wont have to upgrade. I did NOT upgrade to the silent gear and the motor noise is not that bad. You can hear the motor, but people are making too big a deal about it.

Awesome Bike Very good looking

Battery and charger work like a charm.....highly recommended...would buy again!!
