I love this bike I got it pre tariffs price so it makes it that much better. The bikes accelerate makes you feel so alive. I highly recommend getting it if you have been wanting one

I bought two of these, one for myself and one for my wife/anyone else who will try it out. I am thrilled with the mx4. I've only put about 80 miles on it so far, but it's incredible how durable it is. I have a friend that has around 1500 miles on one and has only had to replace brakes (and regular scheduled oil changes). I held out on buying them for a long time, because for me it was hard to justify the price whenever you could get a decent dirt bike or motorcycle for the price, but now owning one the price totally makes sense. They are just a different creature all together. They ride like a fast mountain bike. Super nimble, and really surprisingly capable off road. I love that they're an easy entry point for new riders, because of the height, weight, and no clutch to learn. I've had a blast getting other people out riding who normally wouldn't have the opportunity too.

All that being said, Luna cycle was also great to communicate with. The purchase was easy, shipping went very well, and everything arrived in great shape. Thanks guys.

the bike is good and all and runs perfectly but the paint is starting to chip on the bike and came with scratches on the kickstand which is terrible.

Have had the bike for a couple years now and it is a dream machine! Take it for hellacious rides out in the Atacama desert of northern Chile and it has never left me stranded. In fact I have used it to tow my conventional biked friends back to town several times! Battery lasts longer than most would want to ride. I almost always use it in eco mode with level one assist and it is fun all day!

I like it. Has survived several crashes while riding enduro without taking damage.

Use case: Talaria MX5, stock foot peg brackets, 21/18 wheels with full size dirt bike tires, warp 9 linkage +.75 inch height, long travel forks.
Problems:
Gap for foot peg bracket was a sloppy fit. The included washers seemed to be intended to resolve the fitment problem, but they were not the correct size to be useful. Had to find a thin washer to shim.
Angle: the kickstand when lowered angles towards the front of the bike too far.
Length: this thing is too short to be used on my setup.
Footpad: the oversized footpad is gigantic. There's no reason it needs to be that large. With the angle of the kickstand in the stowed position, it sticks out to the side enough to be hazardous in the event of a wreck.
Flimsy: in the full extended position, this thing has some serious flex when you weight the bike on it.
Overall, I am not at all pleased!

The Talaria MX5 is an absolute blast to ride, pure fun from the moment you twist the throttle. It’s lightweight, nimble, and feels like it was built to rip. Whether you’re tearing through trails, darting across open desert, or weaving through tight single track, the MX5 delivers a raw, electric thrill that punches way above its weight. For something that isn’t gas-powered, it’s shockingly responsive and gives that same instant torque hit we crave from a proper dirt bike.

I grew up riding moto and I’ll say this with no hesitation, this is the closest thing to a KTM 300 I’ve felt in an electric package. It brings that same sense of freedom and power, with the added stealth of silent running. I’ve put hours on this bike and the trails feel endless. You can get into zones where a gas bike might get you noticed, but the Talaria just keeps you ghosting through terrain like a shadow. The build has a bad *** feel to it, and the design turns heads wherever I take it.

That said, a few upgrades are necessary if you plan to ride hard. The stock tires are trash… no other way to put it. You’ll want to swap those out fast if you’re doing real off-road. Also, the factory bolts aren’t the best, so investing in a titanium hardware kit would be a smart move for long-term durability. I’d also recommend a set of bar risers and stronger handlebars to dial in comfort and control. Outside of those tweaks, this bike is damn near perfect.

This bike is so fun and rides amazing for the price, I would totally recommend. The only problem i have so far after about 100 miles is the breaks start squeaking but it still works fine.

Nice bike. I dealt with Scott who was 200% on top of his game. Fast response, truly knowledgeable and patient. I emailed him 6 times before purchasing the bike without any pressure from him. I highly recommend dealing with him if you can. The bike rides great and is super-fast if you cut the limiter wire. Only complaint I have is that my brakes keep squealing (front & rear) even after a few recommendations which were made by Luna Cycle. I reached out to Scott again and he is talking me through some possible remedies. Like I said a def 10+ for Scott. Shipping was super smooth. I received the bike 10 days after ordering it. Packaging was superb. Overall, I am very satisfied with the bike and highly recommend it. I would definitely purchase from Luna Cycle again.

My MX4 had the plastic housing version and the throttle sucked! It had a lot of slop in it and a huge dead spot. I ordered the upgraded metal housing version and it completely fixed all the throttle issues I had. Worth the $30!!!

Best purchase I’ve pulled the gun on forsureee! Love the way this blue looks in person and the way the bike rides so far done at least 500 miles on it just from commuting from my jobs. Definitely recommend and tell everybody about this bike!

Had my bike for over 6 months getting to 41xx miles on it before selling for almost near msrp on it with some small upgrades and good maintenance on the bike. Used it as my daily driver just chilling in the bike lane going 20-25 mph most of the time and never had a belt or anything brake on me. Hopefully the new buyer has been enjoying it as it has been a blast and can easily withstand 15k miles on the batter if not more

The bike arrived quickly, very well packaged. Great customer service. Advice for people who just bought the bike or are planning to: the order takes 3-5 days to process, sometimes longer. Don't freak out if it says that you haven't placed an order yet, its just processing. For the bike itself, I have had my eyes on the bike for a while just saving money and finding the best time to buy. The bikes that ship in 2025 have blacked out pegs, a battery lid that stays open, and a gearbox vent cover. It also has a controller that says "sting r" instead of talaria. According to some people online, the new controler has a 10%power boost but idk how true that is. So now is a great time to buy because of the sale and new model. The bike has plenty of power. It picks the wheel up easily. I often daydream in class about where I will ride after school. It's so quiet and cops dont care as long as you dont pop wheelies or ride at insane speeds. Iv'e gotten mine up to 52 mph stock, which is plenty fast. I'm 6'1 so the bike has a little bit of a pit bike feeling but not too small by any means. My biggest complaint is definitely the stock seat which is super uncomfortable and pushes you to the front of the bike. But to be honest its not even that big of a deal cuz u can just get an aftermarket one for like 70$. If you are thinking about buying it, or maybe torn between this and the mx5, tbh i would get this bike because of the really good build quality and value cuz of the sale. The power is amazing, I don't know why anyone would want a 72 volt upgrade. But yeah the bikes the best thing i have ever bought.

These wheels are a massive improvement from stock. Much better traction and the front wheel rolls over rocked with ease and they also look great
