Legal ride!

For those that want to ride this legally on the roads as well as take it on trails, I was able to register this as a moped in my state. I purchased a plug and play street legal light kit with blinkers and taillight, added mirrors and I was able to get this registered legally as a moped. Unfortunately, I have only rode it about 1/4 mile so far and my ears, nose, eyes and face almost froze off since it was 12 degrees F out.
Luna Cycle shipped it very quickly and I received it in about a week. The quality of the bike seems very good, and I can't wait to get out on it.

I’ve had my bike for about 2 months now and I am LOVING IT. This bike is so great for traveling around town getting to school and riding with people. I would recommend this bike to anyone that loves bikes, dirt bikes, and even motorcycles. Only thing I had a problem with was the belt stripped on me pretty early at around 1k miles, I put a chain drive on it and now it works perfectly. I love this bike Thanks Luna Cycles!

Shipping was fast and everything showed up in perfect condition. Assembly went smoothly and I've had no issues after 200 miles of winter riding. I'll be selling both of my vintage gas mopeds, the Talaria is a significantly better machine in every way.

Best bike for the money &

This is the best bike for the money. I've owned the MX4 before this one, and bought the MX5 as soon as it was released. I'm 6'1" and weigh 235lbs. The bigger brakes and bigger chains are a welcomed upgrade form the MX4. The support team at Luna Cycle is stellar and excellent. They're one of the best teams out there; I cannot imagine buying from anyone else at this point. I was really happy withe MX4 from Luna Cycle, and even happier now with the MX5. Cannot recommend it enough!

I have put over 300miles on it with out any issues. Upgraded to Tusk Ground wire tires. Otherwise run it stock on single track and some small motor cross tracks. Has handled everything I have thrown at it!!

Have about 100 miles on the new Mx-5. It just does everything very well, Off-road, it's a pleasure to rip the trails with. I've played on the streets some and it has more power than you need right out of the box. Range seems in line with most other bikes in this class, But will take the ever so slightly less run time, for the trades in robust build, braking, and power output. I swapped out the stock tires for the Tusk Ground wires, added a direct mount stem/lock, Luna Bars, A few little personalized items, The price point is amazing for what you get. Would cost you several thousand of $ in upgrades on the earlier platforms to reach the out of the box performance you get with the Mx-5

I have had this bike for a little over a week now and it has been wonderful. The throttle feels super smooth, and the upgraded brakes are a very nice feature especially given how much more power this bike has over the MX3/4 and the XXX. I can't really think of anything bad to say about the bike. At this price point it is an amazing deal, especially compared to similarly powerful bike with aftermarket parts.

This bike is so much fun I already have 500+ miles on it and the range on this bike is amazing. So far I was able to reach 54 mph with the limiter cut. Everywhere I go everyone is always telling me where I get this bike I’ve let people test ride it and they love it. I don’t really have any cons about this bike it’s honestly been a great experience.
