CHARGERS: LUNA MINI - 36V
I have bought a number of items from Luna over the years and I must say I would recommend these guys in a heart beat. I love the products they sell, and their support crew are exactly that, support if you ever need them.
I have followed Luna since they started, watched them evolve, and I have nothing but good to say about them. If your contemplating buying a product from them, and not sure, all I have to say is they are worth it.
In regards to the Luna charger I bought, it is most definitely better than the stock chargers out there.

52v Luna DireWolf Ebike Battery
Love this pack for it's long range ability in a compact size. It is strong and durable just like the wolf pack. negative side....OTTO LOCK SYSTEM DOES NOT FIT THROUGH SLOTS!!!!!!. I love the regular wolf pack because I can walk into the store, and I know it'll still be on my bike when I get back, thanks to the otto lock, and it's still easy to remove when I need to. No problem, after warranty is up on Dire pack i'll drill slots larger. I suggest a suspended mount location for this pack with an additional full strap around battery and frame to help secure battery to magnet mount to handle large bumps. Battery is surprisingly light for it's capacity, but weight of the battery, and it's high profile, is very hard on the water bottle mounts on some bikes. Overall love all the wolf pack line!!!!!

Luna Mighty-Mini 30 Tooth BBSHD ChainRing
So far so good, limited use but sprocket seems to be holding up well.
I have a bbshd mounted on a Motobecane sram eagle 1x12 fat bike.
I milled .010” off of the thick teeth to fit the chain.Seems OK, no problem shifting. The bike came with a 30 tooth front sprocket originally.

Luna Fixed Stealth Ebike
I was shopping bikes for months before choosing the Luna Stealth. Hydraulic disc breaks, IGH, mid-drive and Gates carbon drive were the main factors in choosing it. Leerily I decided not to get any warranty with it. 600 care free city miles later I can say I made the correct decision. Maintenance consisted of tightening up the belt once at about 300 miles. I have added a rack to it, ergo grips and, in deference to the hard core fixie riders wrapped the "fixed" on the top tube with a little black leather. With a little help cruises along easily in the 20-23 mph range and I can get it up in the 30's pedaling REALLY fast -not bad for an old guy. Got the "better slow down" eye from a couple of cops on a 25 mph parkway. This bike is quieter than most bicycles - and no ebike whine at all. Most people never realize it's an ebike. Hey, it doesn't use the top end models of equipment but it's all name brand, quality stuff, built to last. What Luna offers at their price point nobody else comes close. Way to go Luna!

52v Luna Wolf Pup Battery Pack
Great battery pack for someone who wants a stealth trail rider (or back up power). I put it in my saddle bag and get about 10 Miles using PAS 2/3 in the steep foothills of Laguna Beach. I got the XT90 leash extender and plan to get another Wolf Pup to stow in my Camelback. I benchmarked the 41700 cells against the Samsung 30Q mighty mini riding with a friend and I believe these provide additional range per Amp Hour. Great light weight pack...thanks Luna Cycle!

Luna Full Suspension Stance 2
I've had this bike for over a year and still love it. Ludicrous is strong enough to climb steep inclines without pedaling. It has powerful acceleration and a comfortable ride. The suspension is a little splashy for me (I weigh 200lbs), and I had to replace the pedals, but overall I'm very happy. Highly recommended.

Luna Low and Fatty Wolf
Most customers post reviews too soon to provide full perspective. I waited to post this review until after having the bike for long enough to have enough experience to post an informed review. I have had the bike for several months and have ridden 400 miles so far. The low mileage is due to a hectic schedule, nothing to do with the bike. Riding the bike with Ludicrous is more fun than I can put into words. All that said, I cannot speak highly enough of Luna, both in terms of customer service, product design, and reliability. The bike is incredibly well-designed for reliability at an unbelievably low price point relative to other e-bike manufacturers. It's also designed to be modular and easily repairable, which is a rarity in today's world full of products that are not designed for serviceability or longevity. Since it's modular, its expected lifetime is several times longer than most e-bike designs. If a major component like the motor or frame were to fail, I will replace it and keep on riding.
The failures I have experienced have nothing to do with the design or quality of the bike and everything to do with my lack of experience with high-powered e-bikes. After I learned how to ride Ludicrous without putting too much torque on the cogs or motor, the failures went away. It's a learning curve. See my "Intro to Ludicrous" forum post for tips on how to expedite this learning curve.
Purchasing a bike from Luna with Ludicrous was based on extensive research at all price points for high-powered e-bikes. I have confidence I made the optimal decision. As far as I know, no other manufacturer offers a quality level anywhere close to Luna's at a price that Luna offers. There's no reason to spend 2-3 times more for a lesser quality bike. Luna is experiencing growing pains, as any company in this situation would, but they are adapting quickly and are able to ship parts and reply to technical questions very quickly despite skyrocketing increase in demand for their products. (Note that the quickest way to get technical assistance is post in Luna's "Ask an ebike technical question get an answer within 30 minutes or so" thread on the electricbike.com forum.) I would not have been able to afford a power level anywhere close to what Ludicrous provides if Luna didn't exist. Also, purchasing from a manufacturer that is doing really well gives confidence that spare parts will continue to be available for the long-term. Purchasing from a manufacturer that is not well-situated or high-volume carries the risk of being unable to repair the bike if the manufacturer were to go out of business or stop supporting their older bikes. If you do your own research, you will reach the same conclusion I did, confirmed by my experience riding and maintaining the bike: Luna is by far the best option for a fast e-bike.
Know that riding with Ludicrous will wear heavily on your brake pads. Have spare pads on hand. The pad that fits the brakes that came with this bike is Bengal brand MB600.
Note that the Luna Dire Wolf pack will not fit in the Low and Fatty Wolf's triangle. Aside from that, my Low and Fatty Wolf is very well-designed and a great ride. Its low profile enables it to easily fit in the backseat of my car. Luna made a good choice using the KHS 300sf as the base bike.

X1 Enduro EBIKE
Got my X-1 out on some trails yesterday and it was a blast! Some up (mostly fire road with assist at 2 or 3) and some short trails climbs. Lots of level but rocky terrain, and of course downhill. The bike handled amazingly well. Overall I'm amazed at how well she rode. Uphill, downhill, cornering, the geometry was solid, the tires had great grip, the suspension made things smooth and comfortable, and the power let me ride more than my legs otherwise would have.

Bafang BBS02 Mid Drive eBike KIT
I bought the bbs02 kit from Luna and installed it on my Surly Cross-Check this summer for commuting to work. I had no prior experience with E-bikes, but had some basic bike know-how. After pulling the bottom bracket (definitely the hardest part), it was a pretty easy plug-and-play install, as others have noted. Now I have around 250 miles on the bike and it’s still working great, though I do occasionally want a little more power. I get up to 30mph on a slight down-hill and the bike seems really happy cruising around 19-24mph throttle-only and 23-25mph with pedaling in PAS 3/5. I would definitely buy from Luna again. Great support - my battery mount started to break and they sent me a new one for free without me even asking!

X1 Enduro EBIKE
Overall quite a machine. 5 stars for performance, 4+ stars for polish and build quality.
Some of the Pros:
- Great frame and components
- Not at all disappointed in the Ludicrous mode upgrade, well worth it
- Not too heavy
- Very high torque motor and gearing, excellent climbing ability in lower gears
- Very good range
- Nice looking and stealthy
Cons:
- Opening the box I had a couple small blemishes on my frame and motor housing, but I sent pics and Luna Support offered me a $50 coupon which I used for the advanced 48V 300W Luna charger and connector. To use with the X-1 battery requires replacing the Luna charger stock XT60 connector with the Luna solder-less barrel connector.
- Smallest (11T) gear is set locked out at the factory, reportedly because it tends to skip (I guess due to the high torque on such a small number of gear teeth). I adjusted it to use the 11T and in fact it did tend to sometimes skip under motor power... more on that below.
- I swapped out the stock 32T front ring for a 38T, which seems like way more of a sweet spot for this bike, and I'm guessing what more riders would prefer. Between that and unlocking the 11T gear it now easily goes 28 mph instead of only 23-24 mph. Still shreds up any steep hills I want to in the lower gears.
- The rear 11T doesn't skip at higher speeds/cadences and when not pushing it too hard or going up hills. And I wanna say after using it carefully for a few days it's started to "break in"? and doesn't skip as much now as it did. Be careful though.
- Pedal Assist cuts out 25 mph, wish there was an option to remove that limit. Right now the only way to go faster than 25 mph is with throttle or holding down the PAS boost button.
- Would not have wanted the previous version without a throttle. Ideally would want throttle on the right, and preferably would also have the option of twist or half-twist instead of only thumb.
- Would like the option of using full throttle power, with PAS set to 0. The way it is now, the PAS level affects the max throttle power, so no throttle at PAS level 0.

Mac Motor/ ASI High Performance Hub Kit
I did tons of research on front-geared hub electric retrofit components for my recumbent bike. It was clear that Luna Cycles had also done considerable research on finding the best components such as the MAC motor, ASI controller and mating them with their own high-quality (Wolf) battery.
Being my first build I certainly could have benefited for some additional information on the components (length of wires, dimensions, spec sheets, etc.) in the end I am confident that I got exactly the electric bike I was hoping for.
I am getting good battery life with smooth acceleration up to 33 mph (20" with the 6T motor). Since I kept all the extra weight very low, the bike still handles great and is easy to pedal with the motor completely off.
My aluminum front fork needed some minor filing for clearing the motor and I used Grim Torque Arms on both sides for strength. Happily the length of the MAC motor axle was just long enough to accomodate teh extra hardware.
Any upgrade costing $1,200+ that you are doing for the first time can be a bit stressful. I know that it's a challenge for Luna, or any company to continually develop new products and packages while keeping costs down, but they've done a pretty good job in that area.
Going forward I would like to see them improve other aspects of the customer experience such as inventory management, lead time, detailed product information, and customer support.
All in all my experience and end result has been very positive and would recommend at you consider Luna Cycles for your electric bike project!

Luna Banana BBSHD eBike
I absolutely love this bike. I ride it as much as I can. There is a lack of maneuverability of sharp corners, but different terrains are no problem. Mighty hills will be nothing to you. This thing feels very stable and safe when you go fast. When you buy the bike get insurance, a strong bike chain and lock, you won’t regret the peace of mind. This bike turns heads so make sure it stays yours. The bike is very heavy and that is not an understatement. It’s come in at ~75 lbs, if you live in a place where you would have to carry it often (i.e. up and down stairs), know that its not an easy task. That being said I love the bike and would buy it again.
If you’re wondering whether you’ll like this bike, you will. Buy it and go fast
Pros:
+ Stability.
+ Steel frame.
+ Lots of room on the seat.
+ Extra thicc tire means lots of traction.
+ You could pedal this bike without much issue even if the battery dies.
Cons:
+ Lack maneuverability.
+ Hard to find accessories.
+ Split handlebars means you have to mount your cellphone either at an angle on the handlebars or on the frame in front of the seat.
+ Doesn’t come with a manual, but you will be emailed all the resources you needs. It's just a bit confusing.
+ To lock both of the tires and the frame, you’re going to need an extra long chain (I use the 2m Pragmasis Protector, 16mm chain from lockitt.com)
+ HEAVY
+ You sit at a different angle than a traditional bike that makes it harder to generate power when pedaling, but the motor more than helps with that.

52v Luna Wolf Pup Battery Pack
Lots of power in a small package. Just the right size. Glad this was brought to market. One complaint.... the only way to attach this to a bike is with the velcro straps that are integrated into the battery housing. This is not a stable attachment, because no matter how tight one fastens the velcro, the battery pack still rotates around the bike frame tube and slips out of position. Not good. There is just no way to rigidly secure this pack to a bike. Luna, you need to integrate some sort of fastening means into this pack, or create a mounting bracket for a bike frame, then it will get 5 stars.
