This is a great sharpener to keep tucked away in the kitchen. It folds into the case nice and tidy and sets up easily. The magnets are strong and hold everything in place nicely and it made sharpening my butchering knives super easy. This is for sure going to be my go to sharpener for all of my chef knives.

If you need a sharpener for your home or travel this is the one to get. After receiving it I took all of our dull kitchen knifes and gave them a work over. The set up was effortless, the magnets held onto the stones so well it is hard to take it down when you are through. The fact that you can just twist the stones around make this easy to use as well. As for the knives they didn't have a chance to stay dull after a few strokes on the diamond stone, then moving to the medium and for the final touch of the smooth ceramic stones. My wife was so happy to have sharp knifes again. It also does a great job on pocket and hunting knives as well. Those took a few more strokes but they were in really bad shape. Work Sharp thanks again for a quality product at a price point that won't drain the wallet.

This is a very well thought out and executed design. The ability to adjust to a number of angles using the magnetic base is very convenient. It allows me to fine-tune the angles. The ability to quickly switch abrasive surfaces is convenient. I don't have to go searching for rods to use. I would like to see Worksharp create an upgrade kit for this with additional abrasives. Possibly an ultra coarse, super fine ceramic, or others.

This is a great product to keep in my camper. I gave it a a good workout with kitchen, filet, and long blade outdoor knives. The ability to change angles is a helpful in getting a good edge. I would like to see a rotary wheel at top of the sharpening surface to reduce getting fingers messy (from the residue on sharpening surface). The combo storage case and device holder is convenient.

The set up of the Benchtop Set Sharpener is incredibly easy and makes it a worry-free sharpening experience as the angles are there for you to set up as preference. The box is designed well and balanced properly with no-skid rubberized feet. The angled grit stones are easily turned but stiff for consistency and safety. Less moving parts to account for and no electronics to worry about or need to change out stones makes this excellent for all weather friendly situations!

I used this sharpener on three knives so far and I am beyond pleased with it. Gets knives razor sharp quickly and can be used at any skill level. Stores in its own case and is a light, compact package. I especially like how the abrasives index, which adds to the speed and ease of use. Having 5 different angle settings makes this a very versatile tool that can easily be used in the field or home. I recently returned from a successful sheep hunt. The field dressing, skinning, caping and minor processing left all of my knives needing a little attention. The three different stones allowed me to take my blades from fairly dull to razor sharp within minutes. The compact size, and how it is all self contained is a well thought out design. I have yet to try the different angles for different types of blades. For those of us who still like the "traditional" sharpeners, this one knocks it out of the park!

After receiving this sharpener I set to work on all my kitchen knives. From steak knives to my large butchers knife and filet knives it worked superbly. The design of the sharpener and base is excellent, strong and stable. Having the angles clearly marked on the sharpener takes the guess work out of sharpening. Just received this sharpener. I have the original electric work sharp with the bands and it works great. I like that I can replace the bands on the old one. So far Ive sharpened a steak set, butchers knife, boning knife and brisket knife. Very surprised at how easily it works. Very simple design, but does the job. Works just as well as the electric.I just trimmed up a 20# brisket and a sharp knife makes that very simple and easy. I enjoy bbq competitions and the outdoors. I can see this shining on being able to use out of the truck. Dont need electricity. Small enough and simple.I would absolutely recommend this product. Dont know how well it will hold up over time, but I plan on using it as much as the electric one I already have.

I own a few Work Sharp products, my favorite one being the Ken Onion Edition Knife & Tool Sharpener, that sharpener will bring back to life any knife, but it's a bit more involved process having to switch the sand papers out. And in comes this Angle Set Knife Sharpener. This sharpener is perfect for quick sharpening of any knife. It's really convenient, folds up neatly in its plastic box. The magnets hold it in place neatly, depending on what angle you need. It has three sharpening stones on each side that swivel and stay in place when you sharpen your knife. I do around 10 swipes on each side of the knife per stone. The result is a perfectly sharpened knife.This will be my new to go knife sharpener, it fits perfectly in my kitchen drawer, and Ill also be taking it with me when I go camping and fishing.

Received mine today. It is well made and sturdy. The magnets hold really good and will not slip out. Sharpened our kitchen knives and my pocket knives. They were sharpened with very little effort.
