Another superb sharpener from Work Sharp. Very well thought out, the swiveling tri-surface rods can adapt to your angle, and the slots they fit into allow for different bevel angles for different type blades. No lubricants nor water needed, stores in the case easily, sharpens with just 6-8 strokes per side per stone (coarse, medium, fine). Even serrated knives sharpen quickly with this. Half of the top slides off to be used as a hand guard, but the directions aren't clear on how it is to be held. I think if each of the six abrasive sides were 50% wider it would be easier to align the blades flat against them. It would be worth paying more for a "maxi" version.

My new favorite manual sharpener! I have been playing with this for a little over a week and sharpening just about anything I can find. It is very easy to hold a blade vertically, much more so than to try to maintain an angle by eye, so it is very easy to put the correct angle on your blade. The coarse grit side did a great job restoring a small hatchet that was badly neglected, and I was able to get it very sharp with the finer grits. Knives from heavy hunters to fillets were easily and quickly sharpened to a razor edge. The rotatable stones and multiple angle settings are very convenient and the overall package is small enough be carried in a toolbox or pack. I haven't used it for serrated blades yet, but the cone attachment fits solidly and should work quite well. As a toolmaker I am often hard to please when it comes to construction, but this tool is very solid and well made. Kudos to the designers on a great new product!

Not my favorite it is bulky and seems hard to use. The set up is easy but hard to sharpen with.

I received my ANGLE SET knife sharper and couple of weeks ago. So far I've sharpened all of our knives, an axe and a hatchet and my families knives with it. I have a couple products from Work sharp and I have to say this product is the easiest knife sharper I have ever used. It takes only a few strokes to sharpen even a very dull blade. There are three different stone grits that makes getting a very sharp blade easy and the different angles make sharping all types of blades easy. The only down fall (if you want to be very picky) is its kind of big to toss in a day pack.

I love the convenience of this sharpener. I do BBQ competitions so knives have to be sharp. Being able to adjust the angle is awesome! The 3 grits at a turn is great.

Sturdy construction, strong magnets hold the sharpener in place with little to no movement. I like the option of 3 different abrasive surfaces that were easy to change. The ability to pick from 5 sharpening angles was also a very nice feature. This sharpener produced a nice sharp edge on my filet and kitchen knives.

Really cool design. I'd been using a sharpmaker, and this has replaced it. Easier to set up, easier to swap stones, and 3 stone options (with a good course stone) instead of 2.For my EDC and backcountry knives, this is now my go to sharpener. The only thing I don't love is the case. It's odd how it opens and I can see the doors breaking off eventually. It also feels a little bit flimsy as the sharpener base.

I have used this to sharpen my kitchen knives, hunting knives, and pocket knives. This is a lightweight, easy to use, and affordable product. I have very expensive stones and would take this product over them any day of the week. If you like razor sharp knives, then you will not be disappointed!

This is definitely not a favorite from Work Sharp. The friction indexing is questionable as time goes on. In my opinion a positive click detent would be a better option. The housing lid used to steady the sharpener isn't rigid and leaves the gripping hand open to a possible injury. With all this being said, it DOES sharpen well & stores nicely in its case.

This works, and I can see it being a real hit at deer camp this season, One of the younger hunters has a problem putting a edge on a knife I'll have to keep an eye on him, HAHA

Construction seems to be of high quality, and the different stones are nice. It just seemed awkward when I used it though, but that may be because Im used to sharpening on a flat stone or a V shaped sharpener. Magnets were very sturdy though and it is relatively compact when put back together.

I have used this product in hunting camp and I love it. Its simple to use and leaves a great edge on all my knifes. Another great product from Work Sharp. Thanks for making quality products

I enjoy competing in BBQ. I needed something that I could easily store and use when trimming meat. Quick and easy makes this a must in my BBQ toolbox.

This is a great product. Simple to use and very effective. First try I sharpened a 8" kitchen knife, paring knife and my 3 bladed pocket knife. I own the electric Ken Onion Work sharp and love it for larger knives. I had a much easier time getting a razor edge on the smaller knives with this sharpener. Big or small this does them all. On a scale 1-10 it gets the 10.

Great sharpener. The magnetic adjustable angle feature is really well thought out. Super quick and easy to switch coarseness of sharpener. Rubber feet keep it from sliding around on your table. All in all, it is a solid sharpener and a really good value.

Easy to use, works great & stores perfectly in my tool box! My only suggestion would be to make the stones click as they swivel. I was pulling my knive down & it "rolled inside" changing my angle huge and almost slicing my hand holding the unit steady. Other than that, this may be the best hand sharpener I have ever used!

I have always been very impressed by Work Sharp tools and this did not disappoint. After using one of my field knives to split a rib cage, I put this to test. As most of you know knives do not like bone but this brought the edge back to where I could shave the hairs on my arm. I also used this on my pocket knife which sees all kinds of wear and tear and was equally impressed. Not only did it do a fantastic job but it was fast, easy and very effective!

Five sharpening angles are built into the system providing considerable edge flexibility. The tool effectively sharpens your knife with a very consistent keen cutting edge and is very easy to use. It appears to be listed for a reasonable price as of this 2019 writing. I was able to quickly and successfully sharpen knives for kitchen and outdoor use near razor sharp. The plastic case is a bit flimsy and having to remove the cover pieces to use the sharpening tool do not enhance confidence in the user. I also think there is a safety issue for Work Sharp to consider. There is significant cutting exposure of non-knife holding hand if the user grabs onto the edge of the sharpening tool during operation. While it would be advisable to not hold onto the tool during sharpening, natural tendency is to grab onto the edge to improve stability. This could prove quite dangerous with a slip. Some sort of hand guard (brass rods?) might improve user safety. Once more, the Angle Set Knife Sharpener is a wonderful tool and does an exceptional job creating extremely sharp knives quickly and easily. Nice job, Work Sharp! This sharpener is great. The ease to change the angle and quickly move from knife to knife is awesome. Going from sharpening services is likewise quick and easy. This sharpener is truly fun to use. It simply takes the work and guessing out of sharpening all types of blades. I have used it on my hunting knives to EDC knives and my wife's kitchen knives, just don't tell her. Keeping knives sharp isn't a chore any longer.
