Great concept. Easy to assemble, adjust, and use. Packs up well. My only complaints are I wanted better identification of the diamond grits and not a big fan of having to remove the covers when in use.

I have been a Work Sharp user for several years and they do not disappoint with this sharpener. I have used this one on my EDC/work, kitchen and large meat cutting knives. It is a lot easier to grab this for a quick tuneup than to get out KO electric sharpener. The only negative I could find is that I think each of the stones were just a little wider, that would make it easier when sharpening knives 10"+.

I LIKE this sharpener...gives a fantastic edge to the blades. I've used the rod type of this kind of sharpener and this one blows those out of the water. a simple twist of the stones and you are on to the next grit...and the angles are easily changed as well.

This sharpener is fantastic! Compact, lightweight, multiple angles for sharpening - very well thought out and constructed. I've sharpened small pocket knives to kitchen knives. The three different grits help you get a super sharp edge on your blade.

I received the Worksharp Angle Set Knife Sharpener and was pretty excited to try it out. Only problem was all my knives were sharp. My wife and I keep separate sets of knives so I asked if I could sharpen her set of kitchen knives. I keep my kitchen knives pretty sharp but I grabbed her knives and boy were they dull. I setup the sharpener and went to work. The setup was quick and intuitive and using the sharpener was super easy. In no time I had blasted through all her knives. I tested them all and was even shaving hair off my forearms. They all came out with a great edge. I put all her knives away and the next day Im sitting at work and get a text from my wife. She tells me she was making dinner and cutting the potatoes and almost ended up throwing them out. She thought they were rotten because she was cutting them so easily. She then asked me to sharpen all her scissors which also came out great. Overall this is a pretty great sharpening system. It has a number of different angle settings (good because my wife has both Asian and western knives) and three different grits. Only thing I am not a huge fan of is the covers for the case and I wish when you were twisting the different surfaces they clicked into place. Other than that this thing is awesome, easy to use and super quick.

Awesome design, used it on my pocket knives as well as my skinning knives. The magnet system is very strong and does not move at all, the swivel between sharpening surfaces is very smooth and easy to use. Very compact and easy to transport!

Received a few weeks ago and wanted to put it through a good test prior to posting a review. Took a little bit to get used to it, but once I did wow, my blades have never been sharper! Love how easy it is to adjust the angles, change the texture and hone a blade in minutes! You can't get easier than this!!!

Cleverly designed tool. I always struggle to maintain 15 when I am sharpening my blades on a stone so adjusting the stones so that I need to keep the blade vertical makes a lot of sense. It was fast and easy to use so it will definitely have a place in my kitchen.

This thing is awesome! Its the best manual sharpener I have ever used . This thing is perfect for hunting and fishing guides with camps off the grid where having sharp knives is a must at all times ! Since I have an electric sharpener at home I simply keep this on the glove box of my truck so I have a quality sharpener just about everywhere I go .

Highly recommended! Simple and easy to use, compact to pack, doesn't require power. Very sharp edges without too much work. A few things that would make it 5-stars: detent rotation on the grit rods, slightly convex surface on rods vs. flat, and some sort of rod retention when in use (other than just magnets) which would make it just a little sturdier. Overall, highly recommended.

The Work Sharp Angle Set knife sharpener is a very well designed system. It greatly improves upon older designs by incorporating the magnetic base, 5 sharpening angles and the 3-sided stones. I love this sharpener. This sharpener is perfect for the beginner or professional makes getting a quick edge nice and easy. This design is perfect. 5 different angles makes it very versatile for any knife. The ability to switch the grots and angles, and the powerful magnets hi old your change inplace securely. If you are looking for a gift for that outdoorsman this would be a perfect gift.

The angle of the stones relative to vertical can be adjusted precisely, but you still have to hold the knife vertical, so how precise is that? You also have to hold the blade vertical while moving it down and in and rotating at the same time to sharpen the entire blade. I always found I was hitting on one edge or the other of the stone. The abrasives are high quality though. and sharpen quickly. I still prefer my worksharp belt type sharpener.

For decades, I'd relied on an old Lansky "turn-box" knife sharpener. An unfortunate slip, and shattered rods ended its tenure at deer camp. And so it began: the search for the perfect knife sharpener to keep in our off-grid camp. I've tried them all, finally settling on a Smith's 3-in-1 system. And then this bad boy came into my life! Wow! Who thinks of this stuff? The turrets, with three different grits. The magnetically-secured base that holds the the diamond and ceramic sharpening surfaces at just the right angle out of multiple available. Even a ceramic rod that ingeniously affixes to the top of either surface! And no real setup required - you can rotate the turrets even when it is set to the desired sharpening angle - a design far better than any other systems I've used to date. The case design is brilliant as well - coffin-like and roomy, it holds the tool securely for storage, with a pin to secure the top of the tool, and the positioning magnets to keep the base from rattling around. A slot to hold the manual would have been nice, but you can lay it on top of the sharpener before closing the removable lids, and it stays closed with them in there. All in all, a great tool. I may just have to get a second one to keep at home.

Ive used mine for about a month now, i really like this. You can fine tune the angle with the different magnetic slots, that hold. That makes it great for multiple knives from fillet to everyday carry. Honestly i thought the case was a bit cheap, however it makes it light for pack carry. Plus you take the two off you fold open when sharpening. Its really sturdy and has the rubber pads for non slip. I have now sharpened knives we used for skinning and cutting bear and deer this year as well as fillet knives for the fish we caught. Ive done quite a few kitchen knives for family and co-workers. Co-workers have used it, one of which couldnt sharpen a knife to cut butter with, but he did alright. My feelings are this is a great knife sharpener, in my view its better than the ken onion belt sharper, which i love for butchering deer.

I received mine a few weeks ago, and I love it! With the magnets holding the Tri-Brasive rods at the correct angle, it makes sharpening almost fool-proof! I've sharpened several of my kitchen knives, and I am really impressed with the results. I also love how it folds up into the carrying case which keeps it all protected from damage. Highly recommend!

What a great sharpener! Easy to use and stores nicely. Blade came out super sharp with very little effort. Would definitely purchase again. Great value.
