Work Sharp Knife and Tool Sharpener Mk.2
I cant think of a negative about this sharpener. It keeps our kitchen knives (and my hunting knives and multi tool) razor sharp. I have only one knife that is a bit of a problem due to its angle. To wide for thin blade Setting and too narrow for the wide blade setting. I believe that I have a solution in the form of a guitar pick taped on the wide blade guide. Anyway, a guitar pick is much less expensive than an infinitely adjustable sharpener. A great tool. I have a drawer full of sharpening gizmos that are not needed because of this tool.

I have had this sharpener for a couple of years and use it on a regular basis. It stays in my kitchen and I use it before hunting season to get all my knifes in top shape. I am an outfitter so my knifes get a ton of hard use each season and I find this the best way to get them field ready. I now have a couple of the hand held sharpeners they offer and use them in the field; also great products.

Work Sharp Knife and Tool Sharpener Mk.2
The best sharpener I have used for everything from small pocket knives to lawn mower blades. I live & work in 3 different states and used to transport my Worksharp with me. Now I own 3 to make my traveling easier. I own an Alaska Salmon Camp and we fillet ALOT of salmon, the Worksharp is used almost daily all summer to keep an edge on the fillet knives. 5 summers and still going strong. Thanks for making a great & reliable product.

I've only had the Knife & Tool Sharpener for a few weeks and I have sharpened most of our, outdoor tools (hoe, mower blade, axe & trimmers), pocket knives, hunting knives, kitchen knives and scissors. I'm amazed at how simple this sharpener is too use and the great edge it puts on blades and tools. Follow the instruction that come with the Knife & Tool Sharpener and your off to the races, you'll be sharpening every knife and blade edged tool you own. Best knife sharpener we have ever owned.

Great fo kitchen and cooking style knifes not so great for sporting knives. Edge produced is not close to professional. Very difficult to do curved ends. Their solution , hold at end until machine stops produces flat spots.

Buda TXI've used the tool since the call of 2015 and the idler pulley failed last month. I contacted them to try to purchase the pulley. The refused to send just the pulley and instead sent me the complete cassette! That's what I call Great Customer Service!

Such an awesome company I believe I have most every product they sell. Why you may ask, short answer is the all perform different actions and that is true but each and every one does exactly what it description states but it does it amazingly well. If you try it and it doesnt than your out a little money , however when it does you get the most amazing product that exists yet the big bonus is this company is the exception to every company in any product. It is my considered opinion that they actually care more about doing what ever it take to make there customers happy over making money. I know sounds like a bunch of B/S well trust me its not. All I have to say is dont take my word for it. Try them out for yourself. Thank You-to all of the owners, managers, & employees. You are all awesome, Timothy J Stewart Sr

Work Sharp Ken Onion Edition Knife and Tool Sharpener Blade Grinding Attachment
Phenominal attachmentIve been using Ken Onion sharpener for about 5 years now. Ive always had sharp knives but this blade grinding attachment puts sharpeness to a whole new level. As long as you have a steady hand and can keep blades flat you will be impressed with how sharp blades will get. It takes a little longer but surgical scapel will be in comparison of a cheap knife using this attachment.

I have had this product for a few months now and I have used it quite a bit. I find this to be an exceptional product (like everything else from Work Sharp). I really like the simplicity of the system and how well it works. The only issue I really have with the product is how the lid fits together. The clips that hold it in place allow the lid sections to become misaligned when carried in a pack. That being said, the functionality of this product is not negatively affected by this at all. I would like to see a more robust system on the lid in the future, but I am overall very pleased with the product. You will not be disappointed with it!

LOVE this. I went through and sharpened all my knives when I returned from a hunt. They are super sharp again. The design of the sharpener, with the adjustable angles of the rods, is amazing. I would recommend this for anyone who uses a lot of knives.

Work Sharp Angle Set Knife Sharpener
After many uses with outdoor and kitchen knives, Ill say this thing delivers a brand new approach to benchtop sharpeners. To compare apples with apples in the just hold the blade vertically and the sharpener will do the rest category, Ive used Spydercos Triangle Sharpmaker for years. Ive also used the not-for-sale Cutco ceramic rod sharpener of similar design. This Work Sharp model is different and arguably better because its elements form a rigid non-flexible A-shaped frame that stays true-to-angle under pressure. The others mentioned above use a V-shaped design that allows the rods to lean outward as you draw the blade along them. This introduces a degree of slop in the grinding process that allows the angle of the grind to wander ever more obtusely. So, points to WS for making a manual sharpener that stays rigidly fixed to an angle of the users choice. (The other designs really only have 1 useable angle - 20 degrees.) Because this sharpeners ceramic stone is pretty fine, I find it best to start with the coarser diamond surface and apply 10 passes on one side of the edge to see if Ive created a wire. Use gentle pressure and let the diamonds do the work. Once I feel a wire, Ill grind the opposing side until the wire leans the other way. Move to the fine diamond and repeat. Then Ill alternate sides with passes on the ceramic. This leaves the edge with a polished, hair-popping hone that is visibly flat and true-to-angle. Side-by-side, this sharpener works more quickly than Spydercos version (by virtue of diamonds) and achieves a far more accurate angle to the grind. Plus, the adjustable angle mates well with everything from Cutcos 15 degree grind to a machetes 25 degree. The only thing keeping this sharpener from being a stand-alone device for accurately re-grinding edges to any desired angle is a truly coarse diamond surface. The coarsest grit surface can be described as medium and does well with starting the honing process. However, if you set out to completely re-set an edge to a different angle, it would take more than an hour of tedious passes. Perhaps WS could come up with a separate super-coarse diamond attachment for such a purpose. To tackle that re-grinding job myself, I resort to using WSs motorized sharpener with a coarse belt. However, if youre on the fence between Spyderco and WS for a manual benchtop honing system, I think WS has achieved a better system for less money.

Work Sharp Angle Set Knife Sharpener
I've had this sharpener for a while now and been waiting to review it. I've had several sharpening sets in the past which have led to inconsistent edges. Because many of them have a V pattern to them, they aren't supported at the top like this one is. This sharpener is easy to get a consistent edge on very quickly. It's perfect for keeping near the kitchen to put a nice edge back on the knives without having to break out the powered one. I brought the sharpener to my work in the oil field for demo and the response has been great. Everyone seems to say the same thing, surprisingly sturdy, easy to maintain the angle and sharpens quickly.

Very well built and fairly sturdy. I also like how it is compact and comes in it's own carrying case. I sharpened my every day care knives and I was able to shave hair. Great product by worksharp!

Middle of the hunt and 3 of our hunters and one of our guides has managed to ruin the edge on their knives on one animal. With ease I was able to not only gain back an edge but easily changed to the correct angles for each knife, putting them back to a sharp flawless clean edge.

Work Sharp Angle Set Knife Sharpener
Had an opportunity to use this sharpener this afternoon and boy was it really nice. Right out of the box this sharpener impressed me. It is versatile, adjustable and easy to use. Angles can be set to 15, 17.5, 20, 22.5, and 25. It has 3 sided sharpening rods with Coarse, Fine Diamond, and Fine Ceramic stone. Quickly index between grits for fast and easy sharpening. The sharpener comes also with a removable tapered ceramic rod to sharpen serrations. This Work Sharp sharpener is the best item I have seen for many years. The best part of this sharpener is that it comes within a case that easy to close up and pack into a backpack or in you vehicle if you are on the move. Take a close look at this sharpener by going to: www.worksharpertools.com and see for yourself. I have no excuse anymore for a dull knife.

Work Sharp Angle Set Knife Sharpener
I did a long and detailed review of the Angle Set on a knife forum, and for the sake of brevity will post just my "Conclusion" section here. If you're up for a journey into the weeds, you can read the full review here: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/the-new-work-sharp-angle-set-sharpener-review-sharpmaker-comparison.1693208/~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ConclusionMy final assessment is that the Angle Set is a very innovative, well built, and versatile in between sharpenerand a terrific bargain to boot. What I mean by in between is that, even with the heavy diamond emphasis, it will of course never be as fast and effective for bevel setting or edge repairs as something like the Work Sharp Ken Onion powered system. And on the other end of the spectrum, as presently constituted, it cant beat the Sharpmaker for touch ups and edge refinement due to the lack of a medium grit ceramic. But what it can do is be a heckuva all round kit to take on camping, hunting, or fishing trips, or when you go visit friends and family who would appreciate a quick in home sharpening of their kitchen knives. The diamonds will give you the ability to modestly rehab any neglected and abused blades, and if you end up giving them a toothy but decently sharp edge, non-knife folks will likely be happy campers. In addition, thanks to the easy store-ability and bargain price, the Angle Set would be a very handy item to have in your kitchen, fast and easy to grab and use either when the ceramic is sufficient or if you dont mind a little diamond toothiness.I havent had the Angle Set very long, and it may be that as I use it and get to know it better, my thoughts will evolve. But Ive already seen enough to know its another innovative and high quality product from Work Sharp, and I bet they sell a boatload of them. Finally, I think I should answer this question: Would I buy the Angle Set? While it doesnt replace the Sharpmaker for my personal needs, its a different critter with its own advantages. Moreover, the Angle Set is so innovative, so well made, so versatile, and such a screaming bargain, that I wouldnt be able to resist adding it to my sharpening arsenal. So, in a word, yes!

I had purchased two very inexpensive knives and as such the grind on them was less than correct. I used my Ken onion work sharp to re profile the edges and the guided sharpening system to hone the edges. I used the new angle set sharpener to polish the edges and they are wonderfully sharp.

Reason I didnt give it a five is because the improvement would be nicer if their was an attachment that held the knife at the precise vertical position it needs to be in while sharpening, would be nice. All the person that is sharpening needs to do is glide the knife down and pull the knife through its edge.
