A) What's great: Size, weight, efficiency, pack-ability, and ease of use. Or basically all the important things, hence the 5-Star rating. It really is a breeze to piece together and boil water on the fly, and like it says it boils water in no time. I love how all the components store inside the unit as well, great for backpacking and keeping things tight and organized.
B) What's cool but unnecessary: The cozy; it looks cool, and is comfy on the hands, but lets be real here. I originally thought that the 'color-change heat indicator' on the cozy would be a necessary feature, but the water isn't at a full boil when it turns orange. Rather, when the water is at a full boil it is very noticeable regardless of the heat indicator as the whole unit begins to rumble, which can also be heard, so the heat indicator is cool but in my opinion useless. I understand we are splitting hairs here, but at high altitude in below freezing temps you sure do want that water to be as hot as possible before pouring into dried meals so that the food is hot by the time it's ready to eat, not warm or less. Also, the cozy absorbs water, which will add weight and get whatever is in your backpack next to your Flash Java Kit wet. So I found myself taking off the cozy every time when washing it. This can be avoided if you don't drink coffee and only boil water inside the unit, hence avoiding washing, but let's be real again, you're buying this particular unit because you are like me and love a cup of coffee in the morning. I would prefer an option for no cozy and just a handle, less is more!
What needs help:
1. The lid; the dang thing comes loose and falls off way too easily. My pack was super snug but the lid still popped off inside my pack and all the components got scattered throughout, which kinda sucked.
*I also wish they supplied two lids, one as is, and another completely sealed, or sealed with a little pour spout that can be opened for when the time comes. When the temps get dang cold you sure don't want to lose any heat ;)
2. The bottom cover: also comes off too easily.
3. The french press: isn't completely snug and/or strong enough to be flush against the inside wall of the unit, I found my coffee with a lot of grinds. I tried fixing the problem by bending the plastic edges of the press outwards to make it tighter, which worked the first time but not so much for the times after that.
4. Storing the stem parts of the coffee press: So the stem of the press is two pieces that can easily be attached together by hand which is cool, but there's no good place to store them with everything else inside the unit when packing it up. I would suggest making little clips either on the top of the coffee press screen for them to clip into, or in the cover bowl thing. Otherwise they jingle around when walking, and they get lost in your pack when the lid pops off and everything falls out (problem #1).
Overall, this product is still the best out there, and they nailed it on the important part of what this piece of equipment is intended to do. If they can tidy up the little nuances they would have one much more satisfied customer here. Hope all that helps for the next model!
*I used it on a 4 day backpacking trip in Mammoth High Country, temps dropped to the 20's.

Jetboil MicroMo Camping Cooker System 6000 BTU/h Tamale
This is my second purchase of a Jetboil product. First use was on a recent backpack trip. At 6,200 feet elevation, the burner ignited right away and boiled a cup of water in less than a minute. If you are looking for a lightweight, reliable and efficient stove, this is it. I will continue to not only use Jetboil products, I will continue to recommend them as well. The Micro Mo is awesome!

After doing a lot of research I decided on the Micromo for my AT thruhike planned for 2019. Haven't used it on a hike yet but tried it out at home and it worked great. I really like the size as I wanted the smallest jetboil possible and the fact that you can simmer is great but I don't know if I'll use that feature - will mainly use to boil water.

I recently purchased the MicoMo for a back country hunt. It was a great addition to my pack. Cooking meals or warming water for a cup of hot chocolate on a cold morning was easy. The small/ compact size made it easy to pack and store in the pack.

Jetboil MightyMo Foldable Camping Stove 10000 BTU/h
I bought this stove with the push-button igniter because I wanted great simmer control for lightweight backpacking, and I wanted to not have to carry a lighter. Well, the simmer control really is great, and the igniter is great when it worked for the first 4 days. But after that I was back to carrying a lighter and a stove which was twice as heavy as it needed to be since the igniter was useless. After giving up on the igniter for a couple of overnight trips, it started working a couple of times. Then it died again.
My real frustration was that jetboil has not returned my emails, (I've tried 3 or 4 times) and I can't seen to get someone on the phone. I wouldn't mind if the stove failed and they stood by their product, but customer service was non-existent. I finally broke down and bought an awesome tiny stove on Amazon that weighs less than a third of the MightyMo and costs a third of the price.

Hello, this is Gwonsik from South Korea.
I write to you to ask for warranty service.
I bought Jetboil MightyMoat REI in Denver, US at November, 2016 during my business trip and at the first usage of it in the same year, the flame was getting weak and finally turned off. I thought it might be a problem of gas canister so I changed the gas and tried again but the symptom was the same.
I tried to fire it again after coming back home but the stove still did not work.
Unfortunately, I did not what to do at that time so just kept it.
Now, I find out some customers having the same problem with me through your website review and I wonder if there is any way for me to get warranty service.
Please check and let me know soon.

Jetboil Zip Camping Cooker System 4500 BTU/h Carbon
I've been using the original JetBoil PCS (Personal Camping Stove) which is like the newer Flash for years. The ignitor still sparks be doesn't like the burner so have carried a small box of waterproof matches nested in the bottom of the cup (heat spreader?). So when I saw the ZIP was smaller and didn't even bother with the ignitor I bought it, used it right away and I LOVE it!
