Jetboil Zip Camping Cooker System 4500 BTU/h Carbon
I purchased the Jetboil Zip for an elk hunting trip in Colorado I took last week. It was nice to NOT have to wait five plus minutes for water to boil so I could eat. An added plus was the ability to lock the cup to the stove. I didn't have to worry about the cup sliding off the stove on the uneven terrain....and the terrain was most definitely uneven.

Had researched for such a thing and Jetboil came up a lot so got one. Was very impressed and thought it was a good buy BUT stopped delivering gas on the second canister and would no longer work. Needed a new igniter ? Impossible to source in the UK any spares except a whole assembly at 40

I am in the Army and I recently took my new Zip Jetboil to the field with me. Having hot water for shaving and coffee made my field experience extremely enjoyable. Overall, I will never go to the field without my Zip.

Jetboil Zip Camping Cooker System 4500 BTU/h Carbon
I recently purchased the zip Jetboil about a month ago and have been using it on field operation for the military. its has been on two short field ops and on week long op and has proven its worth time after time. I previously used the MSR pocket rocket and I can say with confidence switching over to Jetboil has made my field life easier and much more enjoyable.

Being in the field and often short on time when it comes time for a lunch break the ability to boil water in approximately two minutes was a godsend. It gave me the time to get a prepped dehydrated meal started as well as a cup coffee that gave me the much need push to keep going with the day.

Secondly, the compactness of the system was very well engineered everything fitting within the .8L cup made it easy to fit in both my day pack or main pack depending on the day. And kept me from having to search through my things to find all of the gear needed to get things rolling.

Overall a phenomenal product. Ive heard a lot of people complain that it weighs Too muc but I can tell you with full confidence that its worth it. I personally will be investing into a larger system to be able to do more with one boil.

Jetboil SUMO Camping Cooker System 6000 BTU/h
Using it only three times in the last couple of months, and the plastic around the burner has already started to melt. It's still functional for now, but I expected years and years of use out of this. At this rate it won't make it through my Labor Day and hunting camp outings.

Jetboil SUMO Camping Cooker System 6000 BTU/h
For all the love I have for my JB Flash, the most common can of fuel on the market is the Coleman Performance 220g can. You can easily find this stuff at Target, Walmart, and possibly even your local grocery store. The 220-230g fuel cans just will not fit down inside the Flash. I've tried putting them in on their side, bottom up, top down. Believe me, they just will not fit no matter how you try. The Sumo holds the larger cans of fuel each time, every time. You can sit the Sumo down across the room, flip a can of fuel at it, and it'll go right in!

Almost used a 320 gram all weather fuel canister, didnt get the 55 pots from it, but it does what was advertised, boils water! Bought for the coffee press feature, happy with it, lets a few grounds through, but no big deal. Happy with it

Jetboil Summit Folding Non-Stick Frying Pan 21.6cm
After using the skillet for about a month now, it has become one of my favorite luxury items in my packs backcountry kitchen. I love cooked meals on the trail in addition to the normal hiker fair of rice sides, freeze dried meals, etc. The ability to cook a couple of killer grilled cheese sandwiches in the backcountry is beyond heavenly after a day hiking. This skillet is not ultralight, but not heavy. At 10.6 oz it's perfect for those of us who have been looking for a killer nonstick frying pan that fits in that sweet spot for trail carry. It does, and it does it well.

The most amazing thing is the nonstick ceramic surface. NOTHING sticks to it. Cleanup often consists of just wetting a cloth and wiping it out. It distributes the heat very evenly and has small ridges on the bottom that grip the teeth on small gas stoves. In other words, no sliding around on those tiny little feet that small stoves have for you to balance your cooking pot on. Finally, a company added that feature to a frying pan. Perfect. The handle works very nice also. The tiny included spatula is a nice bonus. It snaps right into the handle when packed. There is also a nice bag to put it all in to protect the surface.

This skillet isnt for everyone, but for those of us who have that backcountry chef itch, it doesnt get much better. Id give it 10 stars if I could.

Its a great match for my Mini-Mo with the pot support.

If youve ever wanted a great backing skillet. This is the one you have dreamed about.

Jetboil JetGauge Fuel Canister Gauge
If you get one of these, note that the threads on the canister connector are set about 3/16" down the throat of the connector. So it may look like the connector just slips over the threads on the canister and then slips off, but if you slide the connector down until it stops and then carefully & attentively turn & guide the canister (it may wiggle a bit, so you have to line it up) the threads will engage. I had no end of trouble with this aspect of the JetGauge , but I have to say that JetBoil support was extremely responsive, patient, courteous, and accommodating.

The device itself is roughly 3.5" at its widest, 2.5" at its tallest (not counting the hanging canister connector), and 7/8" thick, and weighs 72 g. It really does not do anything that you could not do at home with a desktop gram scale and a bit of arithmetic, but it could come in handier out in the field, which is what I bought it for (paddling trips, where I can afford a bit more bulk & weight than backpacking). It has scales to show % fuel for 100g, 230g, and 400g canisters, plus a plain gram scale, so with some cleverness you might use this to weigh arbitrary small things in the field.

A single button operates the device. You first reset & tare the device by briefly pressing the button -- you must do this while holding the JetGauge steady & upright while the connector hangs down unloaded, or you will get faulty readings (the connector itself weighs about 4 g). Then apply the load (e.g., thread the canister onto the connector) and hold the JetGauge steady until the reading blinks three times and then holds the final reading (I could see LCD segments for a "HOLD" indicator, but on my sample this never lit up). You must remove the load and reset the JetGauge as above before starting another reading.

To examine accuracy, I did some comparisons against a desktop scale using three empty "100g" canisters, two full ones, and one partially used canister. Once I learned to carefully reset the JetGauge as described above, the gram scale on the JetGauge exactly matched the readings on my desktop scale in every case. Based on my desktop scale & calculations, my partial canister should have 81% left, while the JetGauge read 79%. (Note that empty canisters weigh 97 to 98 g.)

I look forward to using this on a trip. Until now, I have gotten by with packing a mini Sharpie (length 3.5", weight 6 g) in with my JetBoil Flash kit, and adding a mark to the canister for each "burn". I know from experience that I can get 16-25 burns out of a canister (so an average of 4-6 g/burn). The JetGauge will make a fun supplement to this system.

In sum, the JetGauge serves a fairly specific purpose, and takes some care to get good readings. With those qualifications understood, I can recommend this.

Jetboil Stove Pot Support
I was excited to add flexibility to my Flash with the Pot Support. It came in a timely manner but the fit on the stove is very poor. It seems just slightly too big to fit on the burner. Using pliers I very carefully made some judicious bends in the tabs of the Support. Its not perfect but is usable. Im very disappointed. I wanted to use it in the field right away so did not notify JetBoil. Would not recommend for this reason.

Jetboil Stove Pot Support
I bought a pot support for my MicroMo since it doesn't come standard with the MicroMo. I had one with my older Jetboil and knew I wanted the option to use other pots.
In general the support works well for small pots.
It could be improved by having the wings come out wider to support bigger pots.
