Really disappointed. Waited 15 minutes at the service counter without being acknowledged at all despite more than one staff member seeing me. A "hello", or "wont be long" would have been appropriate. Or even a "sorry about the wait" when served. Very basic customer service. The guy who served me was very slow and appeared to lack training. Would have walked out if I wasn't purchasing for someone else. Thankfully I dont have to ever go back.

Thanks for your feedback Kate, we're using this as a wake up call for the guys that even when we are very short-staffed (staff were off sick and on leave) - how important it is acknowledge our customers when they arrive in our showroom.

Marine Deals never fail to impress me, especially the guys in the showroom. They are very friendly and approachable, offer honest advice based on their personal experiences and tailor everything to your needs. On top of all that, they have some of the best deals that make fishing and any *marine* related activity accessible to all levels of abilities! You know you can walk away feeling confident about the gear you bought from there!

Hi Treva, Thanks for your feedback and sorry we were not able to get back with you right away as we were just flat out. I understand you were able to speak with one of the guys last Friday arvo? We take this feedback seriously. Rest assured the team is doing everything to be able to attend to our customers asap. Feel free to contact us at support@marine-deals.co.nz if you need further help. Had an awesome experience here yesterday. Bad ass customer service. Came in to buy a couple of bits of tackle and advice on a new spin road and reel set up. The guy with the hat went over and beyond with his help and recommendations and I now have an awesome spin rod set up reading to tackle some monster Kahawai. Now just need to find a mean fishing spot .
