Well I waited to do this for decades believing it would either be some imported junk and either not work or not last.
However I was very pleasantly surprised!
The device, filter and all parts are solid out of good quality.
It took me less than ten minutes to install no tools needed.
As for the water quality, So much better in feel,smell, taste and of course the water softness is amazing!
Nice on my hair, skin and shower glass.
Highly recommend this product.

Our water had a constant chlorine smell to it, since changing to the triple filter system we can finally drink water ay home again. It was simple to set up, all instructions were included.

Replace salt water softner with Limetron

I saw a neighbour had replaced a water softner with Limetron.
So I replaced water softner with Limetron to reduce cost of blocks of salt which are imported and not cheap.
Our drinking water is rainwater and dish washer also runs on rain water. All other household water comes through the Limetron.
The quality of water is fine and I hope to pay off the Limetron in 12 to 18 months compared to cost of salt blocks.
I hope to get 6 to 8 years life out of the limetron.

Water softeners do soften the water; however, you need to add salt to the water and it is not good to consume that amount of sodium to our body. Hence, we have the Limetron that treats the water to a softer state without adding salt to the water. Also, it is maintenance-free and has a 15-year life expectancy. we were recently gifted our new water filter and are very happy with its performance and taste etc. we have terrible water quality where we are, glass kettle always looking terribly stained brown despite constant cleaning, so coupled with a two stage filter under our kitchen sink, we are not only enjoying pure tasting, silky smooth water, but also saving at least $800 a year buying cartons of purified water, supposedly the purest in Oz, ours tastes just as good, if not better.
