I have found the ultra pure gravity filter produces very clean fresh tasting water. The only issue I have is it's very slow to produce the filtered water.

Indeed, this cartridge is very slow in terms of flow rate but it makes magnificent water. I have found that the new British made ceramic filter is much slowyat filtering than the original filters. I am buying spring water to supplement the water I use. This may be because the new filter is more efficient and filters more chemicals from the water? That is something I do not know.

We purchased the HPF 7 Stage Reverse System over 12 months ago and water has never tasted better. The downside is we can't stand to drink water from anywhere else! Changed the filter recently and was shocked to discover how much crap it was collecting, so it is definitely doing the job.

Purchased March 2025, and read the reviews and follow the instructions. Installed by a plumber who has experience installing water filters. Ran 30 L and 48 hours before drinking. Very happy with it now. Please note output is around 3 L per minute, which was acceptable for us. (Watch a YouTube video to visualize this flow rate). Won’t drink tapwater after having this installed. Location Brisbane, Australia.

The Bad: I have a very impulsive personality when it comes to buying stuff that pops up in my head. So I failed to do my research, should have bought a higher stage system that re-alkalise the water! It's okay though, as I use plenty of Himalayan salt in my drinking water and cooking. Put this atop of the review to hopefully educate others to buy what suits there needs, get that 5 or 7 stage!
The Good: What can I say? Super easy checkout process and post care emails detailing all the instructions (follow the email, not the paper in the box), super fast delivery, great feeling product (no cheapness feel to it or the faucet), super easy to install (don't need to waste money on a plumber), water was instantly noticeably different (no heavy chlorine smells or funny Melbourne tap water tastes/smells!).
Very good product and I have a friend and family member now looking to purchase for their homes as well! Making sure to tell them to get a higher stage system.

But don't get me wrong, you're system is already enough if you want to remove Fluoride, Chlorine and other garbage from the water. It also retains good minerals in the water. If you are on Rain Water Tank, you might want to consider a cartridge with an Alkaliser to reintroduce the minerals to the water to elevate the pH level or a Whole House pH Elevation System.
