I am currently writing this review from Antarctica (thank you Starlink) after testing this shirt out in the field on Half Moon Island. I have to say that it performed excellently. It was the only layer I had on under my coat—besides a light t-shirt—and I was toasty warm, nearly sweating at times. When I took my jacket off to take a picture, I wasn’t met with instant freezing, and wasn’t even in a hurry to put it back on. I’m honestly surprised at how well they worked and felt. Slightly scratchy when I first put it on because my skin is used to just cotton or synthetics, but it was nothing bothersome and I stopped noticing it after a few minutes. It’s also nice and lightweight and packs great. If you’re going to be spending time out in the cold, these thermals are definitely worth it.

I love softness and style of the hoodie. The size chart suggested I buy a medium. I usually wear a medium, but I purchased a small based on some reviews that mentioned that the hoodie ran large. I bought it for a trip I was taking and left the day after receiving it. When I put it on during my travels, the shoulders were much too large and hung off my shoulders, and sleeves were too long. The length was great but the rest was big and baggy. Since it's been worn, exchanging it is unlikely. The size chart seemed way off. If I buy another one, I'd go with an XS (which is 2 sizes smaller than the size chart indicated for me)
I purchased because of the company's origins and working with local weavers in a sustainable way. I will likely support them again, but now have a better idea of how the sizes run.

This is a perfect female beanie. It’s a little short for a man and it looks feminine. I wore it in 35 degree weather and it kept my head from feeling cold but it wasn’t really warm. If it’s being worn in cool but not cold weather, I’d say it’s great. The quality is good and it feels good on but, I’ll be giving it to my wife

Everything about this company I love. The service is great and when I revived the crew sweater I was so excited to wear it. I followed the washing directions, machine gentle with cold water, and it still shrunk. I would say I did something wrong, but I wash it with three other items, zip hoodie, the original hoodie, and they came out fine. And of course I wore it on a trip to Sweden and washed it after I can home which was after the 30 day return policy. My advice, only buy if you can hand wash this item. 😔
