This jacket became my go-to winter coat as soon as I got it. It's unbelievably warm without feeling at all bulky. We hit -40 windchill last winter and I'm so glad I had this jacket to throw on for any trip outside. The hood actually stays up even with a ponytail or bun! I originally got a medium, but have pretty broad shoulders and it was too tight to move much, so I sized up to a large and it's perfect. I can easily move around and do anything, with room for a fleece or sweater underneath. Worth every penny.

This jacket shouldn't be this warm with as lightweight and packable as it is. I love that it packs into its own pocket - it fits so easily into a backpack! I sized up so I could layer under it and I'm glad I did. This jacket and my Paka puffer are the only jackets I wear now.

So far the long-sleeve base layer has served me well in moderate/cool temps and for layering. It is soft, washes well, and seems pretty sturdy despite being somewhat thin. As others have mentioned, it's a looser fit, but I got a size below what their sizing tool recommended, and that has felt like the right size for me. I hope to eventually try the thermal base layers.
