With the butt takedown screw, I can quickly break down my .44 Mag. Trapper model so it fits in a case I bought for my Ruger 10/22 with a folding stock. The overall length is less than 25". It's even shorter than my .22, and a 20" barrel rifle would fit in the case too.

I had been looking for the right things to build out my 1854, when I came across the Ranger Point products. I got the stock, pew pew hand guard, muzzle device, grips, and hand stop. I have got to say, with the look of the stock stainless gun and all these black & silver accessories, it looks better than any Mad Pig creation, at a third of the cost!! Ranger Point products are well made, and high quality, I would recommend them to anyone wanting to do their next build.
