RPP hardware is better in person. Love the feel of the hand guards. Better extension for me on reach than oem. Makes me want to get another lever gun

Comet Muzzle Brake, Marlin 1895 45-70 SBL Stainless Steel
Can't wait to take this out on the range. I wanted a break that would reduce recoil but not too much since I wanted to to still feel like I was shooting 45-70. Overall can't wait to shoot it.

M-LOK 45-70 cartridge holder | 450M Cartridge Quiver Six Rounds | 45 70 Ammo Holder
I like it. It does restrict the storage compartment on the magpie stock I had to add a spacer to make it work. This is my bear rifle when out on Alaska and it is nice to always have extra ammo on the gun

Henry Peep Sight Brass - Pistol Caliber
The peep offers a great advantage over the standard semi-buckhorn rear sight with more available light around the front sight, couple that with a longer sight plane and a greater field of view and your accuracy will improve, even with well seasoned eyes. This is a great receiver sight.

I bought my 336W new several years ago and the stock product was not as polished as I would have liked. I was able to get the bolt polished and smooth but the stock load gate was awful. I purchased the load gate, and take down screw from RPP and I loved them! I recently changed the trigger and the hammer extension. I love this rifle now and will keep it forever! If RPP would make wood handguards and stocks, I would be all over that! Ranger Point Precision is a great company!

Marlin Trigger Black

Overall love the RPP trigger products. Bought the trigger which brought the trigger pull from 7.5lbs to about 2.5lbs. Lightened loading gate is a Must. I also purchased the hammer spur but its not pictured because it kept coming loose even with red loctite. I kept tightening it, but it eventually got deformed and broke. The other parts are great. Im not going to rebuy the hammer spur but Ill probably buy the barrel dovetail filler blank.

Marlin 357 Mag Lever Takedown Screw (Stainless)
As of 2025, this year marks exactly the 50th year of owning a Marlin lever rifle. I learned about Ranger Point Quick point take down screws perhaps 7-8 years ago and thought they were a great idea when I bought my first two. Upon recently acquiring the new Marlin/Ruger 1894 SBL in stainless, I purchased the associated RP take down screw. It came with a “O” ring tension device meant to keep the take down screw from unscrewing after repeated levering actions. This loosening always occurred with my previous take down screws (in my blued 1895 and model 336 Marlin version) and was something I learned to repeatedly tighten up while in the field. The addition of the “O” ring tension device on the stainless take down screws is a game changer. No longer do the screws loosen after repeated levering actions. I quickly added comparable “O” rings to my others levers and am wholeheartedly able to give RP quick take down screws a 5 star rating.
