Thanks for the feedback! Our curved barrel design vs. the stick-up blob makes it need to be loose. Very delicate edges that can't be filed or tapped into place. Understood the older style Skinner/Marble designs are a tight fit but we think they look bad sitting on top of the barrel.

I have one for a 30-30 and this one works just as great for my 45-70. So glad I came across them at Ranger point been looking for a board guide for lever actions for a while but have not seen anybody that really made them

MAS Henry X M-LOK Handguard 1913 Rail System | Modular
First off, this Handguard is rock solid and looks awesome. But out of all the guns I have built and modified, this was the worst and most frustrating one of them all. The trunnion that comes with this set needs sanded down and that took probably 45 minutes and that’s after I had to break out my own 60 grit sand paper. Lots of smacking with a rubber mallet. The whole time I kept telling myself this thing is getting a one star review for putting me through this. But once it was done I was quite pleased and can look back and laugh about how mad I got.

Thanks for the feedback! We agree the Henry rifles are the hardest to take apart and upgrade which includes needing a beefier tenon. We've shared the feedback with R&D to see what redesign they can do to Henry handguards to make things easier in the future.

I came across RPP YouTube videos with their products and it took me awhile to take the bait and buy something from them. I am glad I did. I purchased their comet muzzle brake for my Henry X 45-70, and it definitely had a very noticeable difference from shooting with and without it. The next step is to buy the RPP hand guard when I can afford it. Thanks again RPP team.

Marlin Rossi 95 Lever Rifle Peep Sight Brass
The peep sight is built really well. Simple to put on. I found that I had to use some purple thread locker on the elevation screw to hold it in place. The clover leaf design blurs out and takes some eye focus to use it to align your front sight. Overall I like it and it’s snag free design.

The Rossi R95 in 444 Marlin, and the Smith & Wesson 1854 in 44 magnum both went from 2 inch groups to 1 inch groups at 100 yards. The Ranger Point Precision products make your gun more comfortable to shoot, they look better, and I believe they make them more accurate. That was my experience with the factory furniture on the rifles vs. the Ranger Point set.

Marlin 1894 Lever Loop Straight Grip Stock | Medium Loop (black)

The quality of the lever I received was great. The problem I had is that the pin and plunger must be removed from the factory lever, and the pin is only 1mm. Nobody makes a 1mm punch, and Ranger Point instructions/video say use a small nail. After wasting a box of 50 nails I couldn’t get the pin out. After working 14-16 hour days, 14 days in a row, I have no more patience to or energy to screw with it, and I’m not paying a gunsmith $50 to do it. I’m sure I’m not the only one with this experience. For an extra $10 I think the levers should come with this pain in the azz part already installed. So this one is going back.

Thanks for your feedback and we're sorry to hear that you had issues. We've done it this way for 11 years and don't usually hear about this particular issue. We would love to offer the $25 MSRP Marlin small-parts hardware for purchase/install. Sadly, Marlin won't sell those three small parts to gunsmiths and retailers. When they do, we're all over it!
