Mounted this picatinny rail on my henry model x 45-70. Make sure to use some light loctite on mounting screws. I mounted a 3x9x40 vortex crossfire2 with monstrum 1 inch high rings. Works great and site perfect. Always have great luck with monstrum rings.

I watched the install video. And after completion, I understand the way a LEVER ACTION works. Good for me. A 30/30 X model.
Everything went fine, until I got to trigger assembly reinstallation. For some reason the trigger assembly bolt would not push through. Finally, I was able to push down on the sear while pushing on the trigger assembly bolt, and it clicked through and I could was able to complete. Everything functions normally, no safety issues.
The disassembly and reassembly definitely loosened up my rifle. It was pretty tight. I’d estimate that the trigger pull is at least 1/2 of what it was. And, it snaps when pulled. No take up. No long squeeze. Put your finger on the trigger, be aimed and ready to fire. Again, DON’T PUT YOUR FINGER IN THE LEVER TRIGGER HOLE UNLESS YOU'RE READY FOR BUSINESS! Because the trigger is ready to go. Know and understand that.
1” (3) shot groupings at 105 yards using a 2 MOA Romeo 5 red dot at dusk with a night vision setting. Serious business. You can’t shoot like this with iron sights, and a factory trigger.
Think I’ll do the same with my 45 Colt X, and add a nice light at the M-LOK holes by the Picatinny rail.

Installed this on a Henry big boy x 357, after watching a video on YouTube on how to take off the set screw on the mag tube for a pistol caliber, install was a bit tricky, but not bad, the hardest part was getting the tendent in the mag tube channel, but over looked great and it’s solid

Fast delivery good communication

This clover peep site is terrible for anything above 50 yards. Just get a regular peep site. The clover is impossible to focus. I have great vision and I still couldn’t get this to shoot consistently.
