It worked perfectly. I also liked the way it looks on my Henry. I'm thinking about getting one for my Marlin 30 30.

Hello! Please note the bullet on the page, "Dovetail barrel cut sized holes vary in size a lot vs the OEMs cutting them standard 3/8 cut. IF it's super LOOSE don't worry, red loktite it in place and it won't move for years to come." Sorry we can't control the rifle companies not cutting to spec.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback! We wish every Henry barrel dovetail cut was 3/8 to industry spec but alas that's not the case. Henry customers' guns are all over the board ... some don't need to sand the tenon at all, some a few minutes, and others more. Its hard designing aftermarket parts with OEM's that don't cut things the same size every time. :-)

My first attempt at installing the hand guard failed so I sent it to my gun smith who installed it for me. The cartridge Quiver went on easy.
