Thanks for the feedback. As we state on the page, "Loose Fit: Dovetail barrel cut sized holes vary in size a lot vs the OEMs cutting them standard 3/8 cut. IF it's super LOOSE don't worry, red loktite it in place and it won't move for years to come." Sorry to hear your dovetail cut is off more than most. We hope you can make it work to at least fill the hole.

I don't love the trigger. I used this and the wolf reduced power spring and the trigger pull is much lighter and crisper. Now saying that it also magnified the creep issue. Which IMO is worse than the heavier trigger pull. I'm 100% a trigger snob. The weight of the trigger is definitely better, but it also made the creep twice as bad IMO. With it being light and smooth now you can really feel the creep in the trigger. It's almost like a double stage trigger now. If you more or less slap the trigger rather than precision pull it. You'll never notice it more that likely. I would also like to let anyone who has a stainless model that the silver trigger does not match the "silver or stainless" color, at all.... I ended up having to do a return for a black one and then not getting all my money back after paying the restocking fee kind of sucks. I really feel like this could have been avoided with them making this comment in the description. I cant be the only person whos thought this or done this. All just my opinion.

Thanks for your feedback. As you state, an after-market lever-gun trigger can reduce weight and flop which we do. We can also add a note that stainless steel (the rifle) and raw aluminum (our trigger shoe) does not match in color. As for the creep, reducing pull weight sometimes reveals imperfections in the hammer hook. With a heavy factory pull, so much pressure is required to move the trigger that the break occurs like a dry branch snapping--all at once. Once force is reduced it is easier to feel the whole sliding motion of the sear and hook passing each other.
To fix the creep, you could consider engaging a gunsmith to dress down the height of the hammer hook to 0.015 to 0.020". This will typically remove a lot of creepy or gritty feel from the trigger system. Happy shooting.

May not seem like such a big deal but, this dished out hammer spur sure does make it easier cocking the hammer. A lot more so than the round barrel style previously. I have a little more clearance between the hammer and scope with RP’s spur over the other one I had mounted for over 20 years. This spur will most likely never come off. Love it! The little things always make such a big difference.
