Found a Marlin factory laminate stock on gun broker. Got the large loop stainless lever from Ranger Point Precision plus the silver bullet mag tube cap.( I wanted the fluted stainless, but they were out of stock.) These pieces completely transformed this rifle into a real beauty. I love the large loop lever and had no fitment problems whatsoever.

First tenon I received with my Henry X Handguard kit had not been tapped for the screws. They got me a replacement lightning fast, was able to replace and finish the project!

I expected a snug fit insert that would need to be tapped into place. What came was a loose fitting insert that fell out if the rifle barrel was tipped to either side. I was able to get it affixed by staking the rifles barrel surface and using red loctite to hold the insert in place.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes as described this part is loose fitting and only stays in place for years using red loktite (cured for 24 hours). That is the only way to get the matching barrel curve.
