Simple and quick upgrade. With low mounted LPVO I really needed hammer extension, and this didn't disappoint.

I love the M-lok hand guard on my Henry
.44 carbine. Gave it just enough of a modern touch without losing its classic appeal.

Marlin Straight Grip Stock (Black)
I purchased the stock a few weeks a go and just added it to my rifle. Aesthetically the stock looks amazing and has an incredible feel once installed. I did however discover that when I tightened the stock to the receiver it induced a malfunction I later was able to figure out. Because of excess clearance between the stock and the receiver, I discovered it pinched the bars and changed the angle of the hammer and relation to the trigger sere. The Hammer would not seat fully chocked and would catch on the bolt. After discovering this I placed two washer’s between the top and bottom of the stock to fill the void. This made the action run as it should with equal tension. For as much as I paid for the stock, I shouldn’t have had to modify it to make the gun operate. Tolerances most definitely need to be reevaluated. Other than this complaint… a decent stock

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, not every Marlin rifle is 100% in spec over the years and sometimes a variance like this can happen. Glad to hear that you were able to get the stock to work on your unique rifle. Enjoy!

Excellent quality stock. Slightly thicker and heavier than I anticipated, but it suits the LEVTAC-92 extremely well.

Comet brake seems to reduce recoil well. Quick lever takedown screw is a real time saver and reduces risk of scratching your gun during takedown! Looks pretty cool too.
