Marlin Lever Quick Takedown Screw | RP Logo Black Nitride
My first take down thumb screw was for my Marlin 336BL 30-30Win. Being an older rifle (2004 REM/Marlin), I was a little hesitant with it, my rifle is in great shape, having only been fired a few times with a lot of cooked cosmolene in the bore and chamber, even the mag tube. But once a got it clean; and having removed the lever screw finding it and its threads in new condition I went on and purchased one for it. I like the result so much that I went on and got one for my Ruger/Marlin 45-70 Govt lever action which IS new. I did the right thing I think not being a gun smith but having to use that takedown screw evereytime I shoot it then clean it, it makes sense to keep the original screw just in case of some warranty returns, and install the scratch proof thumbscrew on it. (Scratch proof due to no screw slot) It is a great product, small but a big improvement for frequent take down and cleaning, thanks again Ranger Point!

Marlin Rossi 95 Lever Rifle Peep Sight Brass
Excellent quality, perfect fit, looks way better than original buckhorns in my opinion. Main reason though is I shoot them better so everything else is a bonus.
