Marlin Lever Action Loading Gate - Flyweight Fast, Easy, Smooth
Had to modify mine the extra thick tang where it is threaded ( for strength and thread engagement) was to thick for my application I needed to grind it down to clear the carrier and use my original screw the one provided for it was to long. Now with that being said my issue was probably due to my application I installed it on a 1949 marlin 336 sc and ranger point clearly states their products are backwards compatible to 1950 so that's probably my problem ofcourse grinding down a brand new part is not recommended bu it did work just fine for me the loading gate is great it is smooth and whole lot easier to depress than the original I would absolutely recommend it to anyone with a 1950 or newer

Marlin 1894 Lever Loop Straight Grip Stock | Medium Loop (black)
The plunger hole on the lever was rough and took some smoothing but after, it fit and functioned fine. The reduced effort loading gate spring, ordered at the same time, also had need of a little fitting. One of your triggers was installed at the same time as the above parts. The pull weight was indeed lessoned. 2 other rifles owned are an 1895 .45-70 and 1894 .44 mag. Both have Wild West Guns triggers. I feel the WWG triggers are slightly smoother but I believe your part will improve with use. I am satisfied and would purchase the RPP products again.
