Take your time with your install. The tenon sanding should only take you about 10-15 mins. Use fine sand paper (I used 600), went through about 4 small sheets. I am extrememly happy with my purchase. Bad thing is, now I'm considering the RPP buttstock ;)

Hello! We would LOVE to only have to make one sized tenon. Alas, Henry and other gun makers do not cut the tenon dovetail holes the same size on every rifle. If we make it too loose it wil weaken the joint. Take your time to wet sand the tenon to the proper fit and you'll have a solidly mounted handguard.

I will be getting several more of these for my Henrys. I have installed night vision, a red dot and a trijicon and they work great with this set up. Love Love Love these products and cannot wait to start buying stocks!

Ranger point is by far the best place to go for your tactical lever action needs! No one else even comes close to the quality of machining execution done on their products! This is the only place I will come for parts for any of my lever action rifles!! Don’t think just buy. You will not regret your purchase

Extremely high quality product with good sources of information for install instructions. I like the fact that the replacement tenon has to be custom fit to the barrel to ensure that it is snug. Every joint that requires a bolt also requires a set screw which is a great feature to keep everything nice and tight. Overall very happy. The only thing I see out of place is that the receiver rail sits ever so slightly lower than the rail on top of the hand guard which is purely aesthetic since you shouldn’t utilize two separate rail sections to mount an attachment anyway.

Thanks for the feedback! Please check to make sure the handguard is 100% true to the bore center line just in case so we can get things in alignment. We tried to accommodate as many tolerances as possible and intentionally made the receiver rail taller than the gator rails. As you note, your rifle may be one of the rare few that can't be 100% flat but as you say bridging two rails is a bad idea for any optic anyway. :-)

It's unfortunate that every image for the product shows 2 gator rails installed and it only comes with one. I see it offers an option for additional rails, but it wasn't clear at time of purchase 😕

Thanks for your feedback. We were hoping that these two things would be clear: The first is the bullet that says, "INCLUDED: One COSTA M-LOK Handguard + One Gator Rail + tenon and all hardware." The second was the first add-on option "2nd Costa Gator Rail ($55)." We have to show the WHOLE rail system in some of the photos/videos b/c we offer the add-on options of the 2nd Gator Rail and the Receiver Rail for those that want everything. We do offer the add-on pieces separately if/when you decide you want a second gator or receiver rail at a later date. Enjoy your new hanguard!

Solid piece that fits perfectly in the stock. Realistically they should include it or make a package buy option because it really unlocks the potential of the stock...and you wouldn't buy it for itself.
