Some gun add-ons are easy to install but provide little improvement. Others deliver great improvement but are complex to install. The Marlin Loading Gate was both easy to install and provided a huge return on investment! It has made loading and unloading my Marlin 1895 so much easier! If you're tired of having your fingers pinched trying to push a round into the tube, get this inexpensive and easy-to-install upgrade.

The gun is a Marlin 1894 Cowboy Limited with a 24-inch octagon barrel, blued finish. I purchased the black sight. Beautiful workmanship on the sight. It is a very high-quality product. The design almost makes it look like it was original to the gun. I wanted the side wings to protect the aperture. I have a stem aperture on a Rossi 92 rifle (replaced the top safety) and I'm always nervous about knocking it out of alignment. Too wintery here to shoot now. Can't wait to go out and get it sighted in.
My only small negative is that I think the windage adjustment side screw should be black instead of silver, to blend in with the black sight body.
