Marlin Compass Lever Takedown Screw
The compass looks great but it does not hold a true north reading. I took extra care with installing the compass after reading the disclaimer that came in it’s packaging. It is what it is.

Hi Winston - I'm sorry to hear that you're not pleased with your Compass lever screw. Is that happening after it's removed? I believe it needs to be out, away from the steel rifle to operate correctly.

Installed the loading gate as required. Worked fine and first use was ok . The first cold day in the field. The gate stiffened up and lever wouldn’t close I had to make a field repair.
I don’t see much difference from the OEM gate

Hi George - Thanks for the feedback and sorry to hear you had an issue with the gate. We've not ever heard of this happening before. It's possible the "bend" that makes it "spring" came out some in the install. Feel free to contact support and they can try to help you get it working correctly.
