The shim set includes 4 pieces. I installed these on a 1970's vintage Marlin 1894 with a loose lever. I installed one shim on each side of the lever (trying to install two on each side didn't work for my application - it made things too tight). The shims did remove some of the side-to-side play in the lever (not all but most of it). My only grip, and it's minor, was that when I received the shims they has some surface rust/oxidation on them. It's not that big a deal because once they're installed you can't see them anyway. I applied a light coating of FP-10 on them when I installed them. Hopefully this keeps then from rusting any further.

I recently experienced a major lever jam on my Marlin 336w 30-30. The loading gate screw came loose and eventually stripped off with the factory loading gate. I had read lots of great reviews on the Ranger Point website and I decided to give the Flyweight Gate a try and boy I am glad that I did. The loading has become a lot easier and smoother than the factory gate ever did! Thanks Ranger Point Precision for saving my hunting season with my brush gun. This is an excellent product and I will definitely do more business with them very soon!

I am extremely happy with this sight! The build quality is excellent and it was so easy to install on my Henry Big Boy Classic .44 Magnum. The brass sight just complements the beautiful rifle. The only recommendation I would make is to have the included screws treated with blue thread locker to save a trip to the hardware store to buy it. Thank you.
