Henry Lever Takedown Screw RP Logo | Black Nitride
I really like this lever take down screw. It adds a unique look to my Henry X-Mode 45-70 and will make cleaning a little quicker. This is the 3rd RPP accessory I have added to this rifle and I have been very pleased with them all. I just wish there was an option (at least when using an iPhone) to provide pictures

Rifle Dovetail Sight Filler Blank (black nitride coated)
I mostly like this rear sight filler blank. It looks really good and the finish is almost identical to the Henry X-Model 45-70’s barrel finish. I realize RPP made this piece so that it would not have to be drifted in using a brass punch, but for my liking the .900” blank was too loose; it completely passes through the space w/o any resistance at all. I would like to have seen it at least snug enough to require it to be pushed in by hand. The directions say to use red (permanent) Loctite, but I elected to use blue (semi-permanent) Loctite since I am not completely convinced I was this to be permanent yet. I cannot say I will never want to reinstall the rear sight.

Fast shipping and well built hand guard! The recommendation to have Louthan Gunworks install it went perfect. The turn around time was less than a week. This hand guard improves the look and function of the Henry X rifle! More RPP parts are in my future for sure!

Plunger pin was very difficult to remove. Once out everything went as planned. New larger lever is a little stiff. May require polishing or use.
