First impressions: High quality fabrication.
Fit: Snug to the hammer, needed minimal force to push forward. (Had to slide mine up to the front to clear the scope)
Feel: A little rigid on the thumb. (Cant get a 100% contact on mine though due to minimal clearance from scope. The only reason I give it a 4 instead of a 5)

I ordered the Marlin Loop, Magazine Follower, Loading Gate Spring, and trigger kit. Ordered everything online. It was easy and I had the product in a few days. I wanted to use these parts in a new build I was working on. I took a Marlin 1895G and turned it into a take-down lever action. I just had to do a slite bit of fitting on the lever to make everything work. I like the parts so much that I am going to use them in my next build a Marlin 1895CBA 45-70.

My old gate spring kept working loose even with medium strength locktite on the threads, so time for a new one (the 45 year old screw was still like new so it was not the culprit). The Ranger Point part did not cost much more than new ones from Remlin, so I went this route and am very glad I did. Like everyone else says in reviews here, makes loading much easier.

My 1895 is a great gun; accurate and powerful. But it was missing an ease-of-use that it has now with the RPP trigger and loading gate spring. The dovetail filler was a no-fit winner, allowing me to use better sights and easily filling the buckhorn sight dovetail. Now my 1895 is everything I've ever wanted it to be!

I installed this in under 10 minutes in my 1895. With the lightweight hammer spring, the pull is consistently 2.5 pounds on my trigger scale. The face of the trigger is flat and wide, with mild serrations, giving a very good contact surface. If I had concerns about ignition with the lightweight hammer spring, I would install the standard spring and still have a 3.5 lb. trigger pull. Overall, an excellent addition to my brush buster.

Swapped out the plastic guide rod for the RPP steel guide rod and the weight can be felt. The 15# competition spring makes it softer and the light mag release spring is slick as snot! Going to outfit my C9 with similar components! This is for my Steyr L9 that I shoot in competitions.

Ranger Point enhancements include the large loop lever and the quick take-down screw. Had to order the lever plunger, crosspin and spring in order to make it work properly. Probably should have done that at the same time I ordered the lever. No worries as it works properly now.

I have this on a Henry Big Boy Steel, and I really like it. The fit is perfect, and unlike the Henry rail, it is low profile. I have run a scope (with QD rings) and a red dot from it. What I plan to do is install a tang sight and then leave this rail in place so that I can put the scope on whenever I want and otherwise use the tang sight. The Henry scope mount just wouldn't work that way.

Initially, I was reluctant to purchase the Quick Takedown Screw, because I was worried that it would disturb the aesthetic of the gun. After Installing RPP Lever, then RPP Loading Gate Flyweight I became a true believer and am quickly collecting everything you manufacture. I think the black nitride with 45-70 graphic looks awesome contrasting with bead blasted stainless receiver. It is also exceedingly functional and makes takedown quick and tool less. This became more important as my degree of customization has increased with your fine products.
