This little item serves a great purpose...lever and bolt removal without tools. The workmanship on this little beauty is perfect. Heck...even if it didn't do anything it's still a nice piece of 'bling' to dress up your rifle.

I bought this for my 1948 Marlin 39A, as you are probably aware it is near impossible to find an extension that fits. I tapped the extension in place, tightened it with the enclosed Allen wrench and could not be happier! Thanks for providing a very high quality product!

I looked and looked for an original hammer spur and when I found one they wanted $70 dollars or more. This was a beautiful option for way less. Awesome fit and look. Thanks So Much.

I have bought 3 of these recently and they are the best hammer extension going. They fit much tighter than other brands and don't wiggle loose with continued use.

I like the workmanship of RPP's parts. This screw allows quick removal of the lever and bolt for cleaning from the breech. Big enough to tighten and loose without being obtrusive. Great job RPP!

I put this on a 336 in 35 Rem, easy install. Fits and functions great but will buy the little parts for lever on next one.

The sight is made very well and matches the looks of my Marlin 336 like it was always there. Extremely easy to adjust with the spring screws, no need for punches and hammers anymore! And the sight picture is what I like the most, very clear and a lot more accurate than stock buckhorn sights. I recommend these sights to anyone who wants modern iron sights while keeping the traditional look to their lever action rifle.

This marlin has been in the family since it was new. First hammer extension ever and it fits like a glove. Very satisfied with purchase. No more holes in the car port!

Ok Ranger Point, I wasn't going to leave a review, but you sent an email asking for one, so here it is. I'll tell you in summary right now it's not all good, as indicated by the three stars I've given. Ideally I would be able to provide 2 separate ratings - one for the extractor itself, and one for the supplied punch. If that were the case, the extractor would get 5 stars (at least as of now; I'm not finished testing). But the punch would get only 1 star, hence the 3 star average of the two. The reason is simple: that punch is too short by about 3/16". Unlike the test rifle you used in your installation video, my 1894FG has been used for some time, and the factory extractor had never been removed. It was pretty dirty in there - enough that I needed a punch that went all the way through the bolt to get the pin out. But the one provided was too short to do that, so I had to find other means to remove the pin. Once it was out, the installation went as advertised and the extractor has functioned flawlessly so far. Any potential buyers reading this, be advised: if your gun has been used a lot and the extractor never removed before, don't depend on the supplied punch being long enough to drive the pin all the way out.

Excellent upgrade for the 1895! Loads AND unloads with a lot less effort than stock gate. No more brass shavings or pinched fingers.
