I highly recommend John McLoughlin, He's very helpful, approachable & above all highly professional in his work. I'd previously had a vasectomy some 15 year ago & after remarrying we wanted to have a child of our own. In 2018 I'd had a vasectomy reversal by a different specialist surgeon, however, it was unsuccessful as confirmed by a semen analysis carried out in 2019 & again in 2020. Disappointed & unsure of what to do next I researched my options & decided to try again to have a redo of my vasectomy reversal. Again, after much research & speaking to numerous surgeons, thankfully I found John McLoughlin!

John in fact called me back & spent time discussing my history & possibilities, he was up front & honest about the relatively low chance of the redo working, given my age (54) & time since vasectomy etc.., but willing to carry out the surgery for me. I attended BMI St Edmunds in May 2021 & John carried out the redo surgery, he & the staff at the hospital were all highly professional.

I am pleased to say, a year after having the redo surgery, a semen analysis arranged by my local GP confirms my sperm count to in the normal range! Thank You John McLoughlin for your skill in making this possible. Although my wife hasn't become pregnant yet we now know we have as much chance as anyone else and will continue to enjoy trying harder to become pregnant soon.

Very efficient service

I had my vasecomy reversal in July 2021,following an unsuccessful vasectomy and then a second vasectomy that worked over 10 years ago, surgery was a little more complex as my tubes had been cut high up, but recovery was good and i was back to normal within a few weeks
By October 2021 my partner and i got a positive pregnancy test just shy of 3 months post op. We couldnt be happier to extend our family and would highly recommend Dr McLoughlin for any vasectomy reversal.

First of all I would like to thank Mr mcloughlin so much

I went to him for a vr redo as my previous vr had scared over from the moment I contacted him he was so pleasant and talked me through everything

The hospital was perfect and the nurses couldn't do enough for you

So I had the vr done on the 3rd of November 2021 and we have found out we are pregnant on 5th December 2021

We really didn't think it would work but Mr mcloughlin has made this happen for us we are soo happy and there are no words to say how thankful we are to him

The experience of surgery itself (now a couple of years ago) was good.

Most importantly - it worked. I had a vasectomy in 2009, followed a number of years later by a divorce, subsequently meeting a wonderful new partner, and a vasectomy reversal in late 2018. My wife gave birth to our son last weekend (August 2021).

The surgeon was great but I was left alone for several hours before procedure and almost forgotten about towards discharge overall good but could be better

Easy to find and lovely facility. All the staff were polite and helpful. The room I was assigned (and barely used or needed) was lovely and private with en-suite, TV and other useful storage and comforts. The staff all introduced and comforted myself (this was during the pandemic so I was by myself, so was very nice feature I am sure they would do without the pandemic being present). Everything was explained and simplified, and when I asked technical questions, they provided me the answer instantly, which is reassuring for those who may want to know more. In and out in about 6 hours and had no complications. Mr. McLoughlin and all the staff that were assigned to me were amazing, I would trust and return to them if I ever needed to.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Time will tell if the procedure was a success, but with Dr. Mcloughlins excellent track record I'm very optimistic.

During September 2018 I had a vasectomy surgery in Israel.
3 months after I felt a new pain, 6 months after I have been suffering from chronic post vasectomy pain and in addition a pre-ejaculation severe pain.
