Hello, I had the reversal done in December 2018, from the first point of contact I instantly felt at ease, and when the day finally came, (I had booked it in the August) although I was a bit nervous- as anyone would expect, I was greeted by amazing staff who treated my wife and I extremely well so thank you for that. Obviously after the surgery I was quite sore, no bruising though. It was explained on the day of the appointment that if the surgery was successful we would have about 60% chance of conceiving, i had first had the vasectomy 7years prior - it helped that my wife is in her late 20's. We decided against doing the fertility check and went with 'if it happens, it happens'. Well it happened, my wife fell pregnant in the April 2019 just 4 months after the surgery, we was due on boxing day but was 8 days late so she was actually born on 3rd January - we had a bonnie baby girl 9lbs 3oz! Who we named Pippa, thank you so much, we are absolutely delighted. You gave me a chance in being a dad we really can't thank you enough!

Everyone was very warm and genuine. The whole process was smooth and everything explained in straight forward plain English. The room was pleasant. I had no side effects despite a hectic schedule post-op. The surgeon explained the process of healing very clearly, so there were no surprises.

Mr McLoughlin successfully reversed my vasectomy when another consultant had failed. I cannot thank him enough! He was very approachable, easy to contact and responded quickly to my concerns and queries both pre and post op. Mr McLoughlin was compassionate and showed understanding offering comfort alongside professional advice. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Most importantly of course, he successfully restored my fertility (checked clinically). I am now hopeful that my wife will become pregnant in the coming months.

My husband come to John for his vas reversal on the 15th July and we couldn’t of been happier with the treatment.john did a fantastic job and they where very accommodating and the care was superb,the facilities where immaculate and service was brilliant.we couldn’t recommend John enough.even after surgery the communication was fantastic always on hand for questions and reassurance.

Excellent care. Everyone was really friendly and helpful.

From the very first email to saying goodbye to John, it was a pleasure. John promptly and very informatively answered any question asked within afew hours by text/email and was a pleasure to deal with. I was expecting the procedure to be much more painful but it was actually ok. I went down at 9 and was back up awake and talking before 11, after some food and a little rest I was able to go at aprox 1pm. Myself and my wife were travelling the next morning and I was worried I would be in alot of pain and although there was some discomfort, nothing you couldnt deal with or walk with. John informed me of everything that was going to happen and all the staff in the hospital also could not speak more highly about him. The hospital itself is a lovely clean, friendly hospital and you are made feel very welcome. Myself and my wife are just home now after a flight and we couldnt be happier with how everything went, thanks so much John. We really appreciate everything.

The whole process went extremely well and the results have been excellent, John has been fantastic from when I was in the hospital getting the reversal done to the help and advice he has given since, really pleased and can’t thank him and his staff enough.

My experience whilst there was excellent staff where very warm welcoming and accommodating,they made it very relaxing and reasurring and helped to put me at ease whilst there, the care and treatment for me and also how they made my partner feel far outdone what we expected, I felt it would have been nice to have been contacted by them or John maybe a couple of weeks after for a follow up, other than that absolutely brilliant and would highly recommend thank you very much to John and the rest of the staff.

From start to finish I felt I was well informed and in good hands. The care of Mr McLoughlin and the BMI hospital team was excellent, including the after care phone call.
